Called it earlier in the week. Neither of Sissoko or Dier has the ability to retain the ball, and Dier’s passing is exactly that!

    So, wtf keep playing them?

Jose has shown as much pragma in playing this 4-2-4 formation
as Pochettino showed with his "diamond" formation.

Not so special then, if a supporter knows the danger before KO.

With Mariner on VAR Son was always going to get a red. A yellow for Rudiger and Son was the correct punishment.
Perhaps Mariner should follow that other great referee Clattenburg to Saudi Arabia to teach their refs how to be biased

Maureen has been schooled today...he should take a good, long, hard look at himself but won't.
Everyone kind of got why Pochettino was sacked...he kept playing out of form players and combinations in midfield that did not work and it showed in performances and results.

Against Man United we needed a goal and he brought on Eriksen who is so far out of form it's unreal.
He did exactly the same today...with the same unsurprising result.

His first home game v Olympiakos is held up as an example of his genius cos he subbed Dier after 30 mins.
Yet he has continued to play Dier in the SAME role next to Sissoko in EVERY game since...so God knows how that shows him to be a genius.

Aurier should not be playing...end of story...he can not defend and gives chance after chance away.

Losing is fine...performances like this and the united one are a big big problem.

I could not afford a ticket today (thank god) ...the cheapest were £65 ... but I expect that those who paid through the nose to watch a performance so bad that we only had ONE attempt on target and only FIVE attempts over all will feel cheated.

Players and managers want big money and trophies yet dish up performances like that?

It was as bad as anything dished up under Pochettino this season.
Tbh it was reminiscent of some of the late AVB and Sherwood matches.

We have been outplayed by United, Chelsea and Bayern...were close to being outplayed by Wolves...were outplayed for the first 40 mins by Olympiakos and out played in the last 20 by both West ham and Bournemouth.

I have seen nothing to suggest that this is a good appointment let alone the right one.

Some have been saying that Spurs have improved under Jose Mourinho. I have not seen what they have.
Its been poor team selection week after week. We are being thought lessons regarding tactics and
I'm left wondering where is the real Mourinho.
At least with Poch we played with style and entertained some of the time.

It was obvious within half an hour of kickoff that Lucas was having one of his games where you think that if we recalled Jack Clarke and had him on the bench today it might be a viable option, yet he stayed on the pitch for 75 minutes - even though Lo Celso, who has shown he can play on the right for Argentina, was sat on the bench yet afuckinggain

And don't get me started on the "solution" being Eriksen, even though he's made it clear he can't be ****ing bothered, let alone thinking Danny Rose is the solution to anything other than the pub question "Which Spurs player can **** off in January first?"

...by the way, my mood's bad because I sampled one of the beers from my brother-in-law's Christmas hamper which he said was good, and it was craft ale ****e that tastes like floor polish

OK so I've not read all the comments so here goes:

First goal, Aurier asleep, his fault
Second goal, Gazza being to honest trying to play the ball, try to catch it, he wouldn't have got it but the foul would have gone in his favour, like the Sissoko one with their keeper
Soñny sending off, if someone is leaning on you it is normal to push them away. Handbags, should be trested as such. **** decision.
Chavs pressed us from the start, fair play, should have man marked Willan and taken him out if the game.
Our midfield non existant except Sissoko, no hope for the strikers. Even with Ndombele and No. 23.
**** game. I hope the police are on form or there is likely to be murder on the high road tonight.

This is just ****ing nuts as far as I'm concerned.

How can anyone think that pairing is the answer to our problems having seen the United and Wolves games?

I don't care how unfit Ndombele is...or that Winksy plays too many easy passes...or that Skipp's inexperienced...that Lo Celso is acclimatising to PL football.

Pick a couple of them. Currently, you don't even have to be more than half decent to take us to the cleaners.

'Five' forwards up front on the pitch at the same time.... (five), and not a single decent shot on their goal all game.
    WHF is that.

Only saw the second half but the problems we have are very clear. MIDFIELD or lack of one. Looked a bit better when NDombele came on but we have some way to go. 3 games without Son :headbang:

So far three big games and Spurs have been beaten well in all of them.

I wasn’t and never will be a fan of Mourinho for many reasons but I expected him to be better in these big games.

I’m gonna make a bold prediction and say he won’t be Spurs manager by Christmas 2020.
