Morning all. We did as well as we could expect considering we lost our most influential player after one minute then the referee gave them a dubious penalty followed by yellow cards calculated to stun the fight back
Yesterday’s game, result, refereeing decisions all consigned to history now and no longer relevant. All the focus moves to the next game Stephens day. A must win. No point in trying to pretend otherwise. If we’re as good as we’re hoping and have the bottle for a promotion push, we have to beat top teams at home. Defeat could leave us five points clear which as we know only too well, is a very slender lead
Agree Eire went to Preston away and really not impressed by them, keep Johnson quiet and they're no threat. maybe the lad maguire up front who moves about a bit but is very reluctant to pass to any of his team mates. We really should be looking at putting them to the sword. Think Brum away will be more of a tight game. Just wish we were playing Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol city over the festive period. Don't think I've seen a poorer game for years than these two are playing out at the minute.
Just one of those games where nothing went right from the start, it felt like Millwall all over again only difference was we didn't go down to ten men. Truth is we were in the game for much of the match & really should have stepped up a gear once we got the equaliser, sadly we didn't as our passing was atrocious & we lost our fluency. Only White (his poorest game in a Leeds shirt) made a challenge for Fulham's winning goal whilst at least five of our defenders stood ball-watching. Yes we lost a match however the biggest concern is how many more games is our talisman Pablo Hernandez will miss? Positives We created several chances. Bamford's performance & equaliser. Bamford's 10th goal of the season. Kiko's magnificent one-handed save, unlucky with the penalty too. Better in the air with the return of Cooper. First defeat in 12 matches. The unbeaten run was always inevitable. We've lost to a premiership outfit from last season whom if not for their coach shouldn't be 9 points adrift of Leeds. Scott Parker probably keeps his job for now. Negatives Pablo's injury. Missed Hernandez's creativity. Soft penalty. One of the worst refereeing performances I've witnessed in the championship this season. Two of best players this season White & Phillips had poor games. Our passing was atrocious at times. Missed chances once again. Five goals conceded in the last 120 minutes. Fulham time-wasting from the 30th minute onwards Fulham players rolling around the floor like big-girl blouses feigning injury Six consecutive defeats in London 1 win in 9 league trips to Fulham Ratings 8 Casilla 4 Ayling 5 White 6 Cooper 6 Dallas 5 Phillips 5 Costa 6 Klich n/a Hernandez 6 Harrison 8 Bamford MOTM Subs 5 Alioski 5 Nketiah 6 Stevens
Asked a month or so back to pick a top 6. Put wendies and Brentford in, even though neither were there. If you read match reports look at chances created etc... both were top 4 sides. They are the threat. Bristol city and Preston, just been riding their luck, mid table sides. Table is sorting itself out.
HaHA scum lost to watford , Can pearson provide the great escape, only defeat in three matches was a close fought defeat to Liverpool.
Just seen the ref who gave Fulham, the fake pen was the same ref who gave millwall the fake pen earlier in the season. and sent off our player. We should be asking that he never refs our games again, currupt ****.
I think we should call on the government to investigate anti northern refereeing in football because the governing bodies seem incapable of sorting it out
