about 5 meetings too many should scrap wincanton, sedgefield, market rasen and fontwell, if not permanently, at least for the day
Given Venetia Williams' outstanding form at present (9 winners and 3 runners up from her last 15 runners) I shall be having a good look at her entries on Boxing Day.
Not really. He just said he'd have more regrets if Cyrname won and he was on CDO than other way round which is fair enough
Everything else is in trouble then, if that’s the case. Cyrname’s Ascot run looks better every time you look at it though, and I’ve always felt horses suited by Ascot also tend to be suited by Kempton (I don’t have any stats to back that up, just an impression).
I might be wrong but I don’t think Cyrname is all that he is being touted as. I have nagging doubts about Altior and his form including last season. it’s going to be a festive cracker. Just hope they all stay on their feet and we get to see a quality race.
I see Fergal has entered Quick Grabim in the Christmas Hurdle. Hope to see him run a big race - I think he could be top notch but was obviously knocked back by the injury last season. It would be nice to see FOB with a Champion Hurdle contender This is Quick Grabim winning the Royal Bond last season - a lovely performance, very slick hurdling and found another gear up the home straight. Going was good I hope we will see good-soft at Kempton on Boxing day - going and the track should really suit him and I think he can run a massive race at 20/1.
