Kodja giving himself a shot of starting on Saturday. It's not as if Wesley has done much yet in a Villa shirt. (Until Saturday...)
Jadon Sancho doing big things over in Germany. Now up to 9 goals and 9 assists in 14 games, from RW, with 8 of those goals coming in his last 7 games. He is 19.

That Arteta appointment is going to spectacularly backfire. Gone before the end of the season I reckon.
Surely by appointing him they acknowledge they'll have to give him a bit of time - End of next season at least?
Why? He's going from coach at Man City to head coach at Arsenal. He's spent over 3 years learning under one of the best coaches around. Everyone who knows him have said he's going to be an excellent manager. Also, a big part of the job at Arsenal is getting the fans on side. I think it has more chance of being a roaring success than complete failure.
Just a gut feeling. Arsenal is a poisoned chalice right now and this is his first job as a manager. Talk about jumping in at the deep end. And being a manager is very different from being an assistant coach. I’m not saying Arteta won’t be successful as a manager in time. Just can’t see it happening at the Goons.
Seems the wrong time for all parties to me, you want a more stable club and less pressure for your first job really and similarly, Arsenal seem to be in the position where they need a bit of experience to steady the ship. Not saying it wouldn't work out if given time, but that remains to be seen. Huge gamble whatever way you look at it though.
Well it cost me a ****ing fortune, but 10 days in Dubai just me and the missus as an early xmas suprise has put me back in the good books!! Much needed!! What have i missed? Anything worthwhile? Is @fatletiss still and undercover skate? @tomw24 still moaning?
