There keeper goes down injured, it takes him 4 fkg mins to get up and then takes the kick, there was 6 subs brought on and the bent EFL **** gives 5 mins added time. Mitrovic wants completely getting hammered, Philips should of cracked the twat, he gets booked and he blatantly tells the ref to his face to fck off, spineless **** of a ref says nothing. Scott Parker was encouraging all this, that’s one cockney ****. The Ref was the worst excuse of an official I have seen, time the fans started giving it some abuse from the terraces..... can’t do any harm.
I think you have a point. I said a while back that (I think it was the times football) they produced a graphic that showed our clean sheets were down to keeping the opposition away from our goal. On the odd occasion (and let's face it, keeping the number of efforts on target down to three in the last two games) you'd expect your keeper to save some of them. Two games, six on target, five goals conceded. Their keeper pulls off two worldies from point blank range (keeper touched Klich shot onto the post).
The first and third goal against Cardiff for me last week epitomised casilla always wants to be a hero, coming flying out for crosses which he mostly misses resulted in cardiffs first. Third goal strujik wrong footed and Cardiff striker pokes the ball goalwards within reach of Casillas right arm, simply rolls past him. Simply not good enough and Ayling is a liability as well.
Over the years the amount of times we have nearly made it just contribute to the pessimistic outlook. 30 mins ago I was distraught but on reflection I know it isn't a disaster....yet. Just need to make sure we get back to winning ways against Preston. I'm still ****ed off about losing though.
I think casilla has improved this season. Made a good save today... no chance with the second. At fault for one last week and a few others this season but has saved us in a few as well. The point about opponents shots on goal is true. But it was true last season as well. We defend up the pitch and press high. That restricts sides to: - chances on the break -set pieces -chances on the break/transition tend to be clearer ones - we can’t defend set pieces That’s the reality. As is the fact that we have the best defensive record in the league. So it’s frustrating that sides can have 3 shots on target and score with 2 of them as they did today... but it’s just how it will be with how we play.
