I assumed right. I was hoping otherwise, but I never think home equipment is the way to go from the off .. I find there's a psychological issue in being at home and going into relax mode .. I think joining a local gym is the way to go because it becomes a social activity … it's good to get out the house and in a more active environment … once you get hooked in the gym then you get equipment would have been my advice prior . The gym becomes a social activity and you get to know people etc too and it's good for you in more ways than you think prior to joining ,
Agree with this, not so much for meeting people but the fact that you have gone out of your way to exercise means that you work that bit harder. From personal experience I would also recommend a personal trainer. Watching someone on a video is no substitute for someone designing a programme that suits what you are trying to achieve, corrects you when you are doing it wrong and makes sure the whole session is done at the correct tempo. It helps that they only cost 25quid an hour here as well. For food supplements I have gone the natural route and make myself a daily smoothy/juice for breakfast (kale, spinach, banana, apple, plum and blueberries - then adding two from Goji Berries, Maca Powder, Chia Seeds, Almonds or Cacao) - lovely.
I think the gym takes a fair whack of that. My Mrs was paying 50quid an hour in the UK (although she may have been paying for extras). This is my personal trainer:
9 9If you want to give it another try, find something you enjoy and join a gym/classes. Some people like weights. I hate them. I used to run but then got bored with that and started boxing training and a bit of actual boxing. Some people do spinning. My son does bouldering. Find something you think is fun. Make it a routine. Reward yourself. I have a pint after every session but only if I have worked hard. **** supplements. Try to avoid eating complete **** but otherwise just work out regularly and the rest will follow.
