I'm rather bemused by it all too Bob.

    1st Gaspar and now this.

    None of it adds up.

Does seem like an odd move from Warnock, if Traore was to get injured I'd much prefer a left footer to replace him than sticking Connolly or Young there.

We have got Perone too SB. Don't know much about him, but I thought he got better the longer he played against Wigan and was unlucky with that good header against their bar.

Forgot about him; he needs a few games under his belt. Hard to see how that's going to happen with such important games coming up

Good signing for Forest. Hill is a winner and a leader and played a big part in our success last season.

Prob not good enough to start in Prem every week and probs want s to be starting games so I think he need to go.

Doesn't make sense at all, unless NW is scratching their back so that we can sign someone off then in January McGugan is my guess?

I would have thought that Hill would have stayed rather than gone to Forest, but if he needs games to get fit, and if there is a recall clause inserted then surely there is no problem. I cannot see NW just letting someone go without having a suitable cover plan in place.

Difference between Vine and Hill .... Hill wants to play football ... Vine wants to spend the money.

Would really like to see us clearing the decks of those clearly are unlikely to get first team action going forward as well as vine, rowlands or cook would include Hogan, PVM, Dave, Hulse, the Italians etc.

Perone can't play at left back though, or he'd be a disaster waiting to happen if he did (judging on what I've seen so far).

No idea why we'd let our only other recognised left back go out on loan. As stated above I too would prefer Hill to Hall/Connolly/Perone/Young at left back.

Guess we just have to hope Traore stays fit.

Hill reflects on QPR exit - QPR FC - Sport - Fulham Chronicle

CLINT Hill admits he's 'gutted' to be leaving QPR after agreeing to join Nottingham Forest on a three-month loan.

The full-back hasn't featured for Rangers since being red-carded in the opening-day defeat against Bolton Wanderers, and has fallen down the pecking order following the signing of Armand Traore.

With the versatile Matt Connolly able to provide cover, Hill has been allowed to leave Loftus Road for the Championship club.

He posted on his Twitter account: “Thanks everyone gutted to be leaving Qpr what a great club with awesome fans gonna miss it. But really excited about going to forest.”

Odd, why put him in the squad then loan him out? From Hill's comments it looks like he's not just going for fitness

Don't see Hill's loan on on the official yet - hope he's not going anywhere without a 24 hour return clause.

Another strange one after Gorkks. Perhaps it just comes down to that much needed Prem quality again: Pace. Personally I prefer Hilly to Connolly any day but hopefully Warnock knows what hes doing.
