The Enabling Act of 1933 established the power of the Nazi-led government to pass law by decree, bypassing the approval of parliament. It was passed on March 24, 1933, and effectively nullified the Weimar Constitution.

Hitler ruled Germany with only 30 odd % of the vote did he not? That is not bad going, especially considering his party only got about 3% of the vote 5 years previously.

 

No. Forcing Jews to leave Germany and go to Palestine is not the same as West Indians volunteering to come to England. Quite what the Foreign Office thought they were doing insisting they feck off back to Jamaica is perplexing.

Having said that The Community are all up for buggering off of their own accord now that Bojo increased his majority. Our Muslim cousins look intent on doing the same thing iirc.
