Big Dunc wearing a shirt in the rain. He knows how to win the fans over. I'm kinda enjoying his passion.

Duncan Disorderly as he was known at Rangers. He showed a lot of passion in his playing days too.

"Ferguson's aggressive style of play resulted in nine red cards and a three-month prison sentence following an on-field assault of Raith Rovers' John McStay in 1994. Eight of those red cards were in the Premier League, where he holds the joint record for dismissals along with Patrick Vieira and Richard Dunne.[4] He was nicknamed "Big Dunc"[5] and "Duncan Disorderly".[6]"

Have to add. I'm not sure that was fair. Subbing him, fine, but why blank him. Just say its not working. Don't hang him out to dry like that.

I dont think its the player or Dunn’s fault. I blame the club hierarchy for what’s going on there. The Saints club hierarchy that is...

They do. Palace look pretty rubbish though, wouldn't be surprised to see them get dragged into the relegation battle.

Actually don't think Ancelotti to Everton is that great of an appointment.

Once again, it's Everton lurching from philosophy to philosophy and just throwing money at things. Ancelotti's best days are behind him too and the criticism of him elsewhere has always been that he's too lax and hands-off and that his training methods haven't kept pace with the development of the game.

You'd have thought they'd have learned that lesson: Martinez, Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce, Silva, Ancelotti.

There's no clear strategy there behind Moshiri spending a lot of money and having high squad and coaching staff turnover.

I don't think they'll bomb under Ancelotti - in fact, you'd think he'll restore them to where we 'expect' to see them, but I certainly think they could do better. But I'll caveat that by saying it would also require a total shift in terms of approach from the ownership and the executive team running the club from the top too.

You can’t just go blaming the ownership and the top of the club

Being a tad cynical perhaps, but did anyone else see the China reaction to Ozil and think that something similar might be the angle to take for any protests against Gao?

What, you thinking of asking Gao to sign Ozil? We do need a playmaker...
