If you think the British media are biased, try Sky News Australia.

So,let's see. Labour lost because many of their voters switched buses because they wanted out of Europe?......and their leader was pathetic?

Their voters switched teams because Labour hadn't done anything for their communities for the past nine years...nine years of the Tories being in charge

On a personal note, I remember back in March getting into it with some bloke from Stockton who was saying that exact crap, blaming Labour for the local council having a fraction of the funding they had twenty years ago (even though the Tories set the budgets for local government) and wasting money on frivolous projects (in boroughs which are 100% Tory controlled)

It's depressing how utterly clueless some people in this country are about government

Politics these days is wacky. In USA,they have a man they call President, who in all intents and purposes is completely out of his mind......and he has a following that adores him. He's upset most countries, except for dictators (of which he is trying to join as one of them, with the Republican Party doing their level best to help!!!) and I do believe he sits for hours on his toilet tweeting as much rubbish as comes into his silly head.
Makes me wonder what Maggie Thatcher would have made of him if she was PM today...….!

How do you put yourself forward without mentioning yourself. She is a decent MP and whilst I would prefer Angela Raynor, Phillips is a decent candidate.

She did her job and now she's getting her reward.
Maybe one day the Lib Dems will work out that being the Tory B Team isn't such a good idea?
