    Robbed them tbh :D

Draw would have been fair as we defended our box well and Wolves only had themselves to blame for being sloppy and not creating the number of chances they should have. They scored with their one moment of quality, the strike from Traore, whilst Lucas' goal was the only example of good play we had, the Jan goal and Dier chance both came out of awful defending from Wolves.

Big credit to Gazzaniga today, there was two saves where he had Wolves player closing in at the far post(Aurier nowhere as usual) and he put it beyond them both times. Dier was good too but overall, we're lucky Wolves weren't better as we were poor, especially second half.

    More likely
Lose it and we are 6 points outside the top 4.
We were 12 points behind Chelski when Jose took over

Big performance from Dier, think we just need to make sure he never plays midweek games and we’ll be sweet <laugh>.

Thought Lucas worked his arse off and his goal was superb.

Couple of big saves from Gazza too.

Toby looked a lot more like a defender which was nice.

Fortunate win overall but I’ll take 3 points in any fashion at the moment. Chelsea game is now huge. Mad to think we can go into Christmas in the top four with a win. Never seemed possible just a few weeks back.

    Low ambition. :)

13 pts behind 2nd, and looking at the fixtures for match weeks 18/19,
it could be as few as 7 pts IF Jose gets the CM deficiencies / game mgmt
    sorted out.

Lot of talk about how lucky we were to get away with that today, we scored 2 hit the post and could have had a penalty but we kept going and always looked a threat, how many time over the last 5 yrs have we battered sides and came away with f**k all, this side will improve, well played boys ,tough luck wolves and good luck with the Europa

    The Wolves CM is competent.

IMHO what today showed them is that against a PL top 6 side,
you need more diversity in attack then just treating Traore akin
to the "big kid" in a schoolboy level game.

A big round of applause for our away fans again. Despite the pathetic and childish booing from the home crowd, they could easily be heard singing our songs. <applause><applause>

We're closer to the relegation zone than we are to 2nd. Steady.

The Jose press blurb has been very workmanlike during his tenure.
Anyone else here think that Levy has demanded this as a
T+C if Jose wanted the job (I know tis early days etc) ??

    I think it’s Jose’s approach regardless

He has admitted that he made mistakes at United in how he dealt with the Press amongst other things
