I've just remembered that Sheff Utd blew a three goal lead at home to Villa last season. Instead of collapsing they used it to rally the troops and that's what we must do now. Let's use it to get really mad and give Fulham a good thrashing next week.
Mendez-Laing looked a handful, Tomlin is a gifted individual with a mean streak, a potent combination - that's the first time for a long time that I've seen our composure at the back not only threatened but disintegrate, so fair play for putting the pressure on and making it count. I don't think our lads will be looking forward to the Bielsa post-mortem, but the forwards have as much to account for as the defenders - they should have had us well out of sight before the rot set in and didn't, complacency is the right word I think. Cooper will make a difference against Fulham, but suddenly the game takes on added significance and like last year, we've sent a message to the rest of the division that we can be got at if they stick at it. We let ourselves down today, so a reaction is not just expected but required - if it had been 1-1 I could have seen through it. Gutted, but perspective is needed too. MOT!
Tend to disagree about the strikers today Davy if Dallas and Ayling could shoot straight we would have been 5-0 up at half time
We well and truly ****ed that up, seemed to go to pot with the substitutions, oh well, we move on, we mustn't dwell on it, spoilt my ****ing weekend though, bastards
I've just watched the highlights and, well I wish I hadn't. The defence, having been so good for so long time, appeared to go home early. A Shame as a 3-0 against them would have been great but still second and 10 points clear
We'd have won that with Cooper or Jansson at the back. We are a small side but especially so without Cooper with only Berardi as cover. It's a weakness pointed out by numerous opposing managers. We paid the price today. Hopefully this doesn't become a reoccurring issue as we move on.
Well, we were but the football result wasn't up to much. Good result for you though getting a draw against the mighty Leeds, I bet that must have boosted your league position no end? I can't say there was much in the red card incident, but that moustache, well when I saw that he just had to go, is he normal?
The moustache deserved a sending off even if the tackle didn't. "A draw against the mighty Leeds" will do for now. It's like a win for us after that first hour. You must be gutted the way you folded - a sign of things to come?
Signing off for this evening guys. I think I've overdosed unnecessarily on my Felopidine so I'll have to have a couple of stiff Winters Gold to neutralise it........
No probs bud, we rely on goals from the midfield, and Harris, Klich, Pablo and Dallas should all be weighing in with more goals. I agree, we should have been out of sight by half time, and after we went 3 up it was a case of form over function, we seemed happy not to add to the scoreline unless we scored the perfect goal.
Not at all we are a compassionate group of people and never consider flogging a dead horse or kicking a man when he is down. I think you lot have just taught us a lesson and the whips will be in hand and boots will stay on for the full 90+ minutes in future, sod the RSPCA and the Commission for Human Rights.
Fair play to your last 30 minutes prediction or whatever Sparkey you were spot on ya bastard, I said to my mate that **** wanted sending off just because of the 'tache, last time I saw one like that some German fella had one, shouting "good yah schnell whilst hanging out the back of a blonde bird on some old Betamax porn film
I LIKE WELSH LAMB, NONE OF THAT WHITE ISLAND **** TOO GRITTY FOR MY LIKING LEEDS ****ED IT UP LAST SEASON, GOING TO **** IT AGAIN
