For once, I'm stuck for finding one player that's consistently been playing well. I don't think Lambert deserves to be on the list, although hopefully if his recent form continues, that may change!

I'd say Lallana, then Chaplow, then Fonte.:emoticon-0100-smile

For me the player of the season is often over looked because they quietly get the job done.
I'm going for a player who has played pretty much every game, had to play with changes around him in most matches and has been a big presence just because of his composure and excellent timing.

    Fonte.

I think Kelvin has been consistent all season, and feel he has been unfairly critiscised by some 606 posters. Lallana has been great, but both Fonte and Kelvin just go about their business calmly and efficiently.

Kate, although I agree with your choices, I totally believe Rickie should be on the list. I dread to think how many results would have gone against us without him. His versatility gives us so many options up front and I still think he will be top scorer this season.

    So, Lallana for me.

The most consistent for me is Fonte... although he too has made mistakes. Kelvin Davis........ no sorry good shot stopper, just my opinion, but he has cost us more than a couple of games this year.
Most influential this season is either Chaplow or Lallana. I would not like to have to choose at this moment, but if you insist I think it would have be Fonte.....

As much as I love Kelvin he needs to learn to command the box better. Still have nightmares over his performance at Tranmere. For me it has to be Fonte.

Stuck at the moment but Lallana edges it. He is the one player that has been missed most when injured and that speaks volumes.

Has to be Lallana for me, with Chaplow a close 2nd. 3rd would either be Lambert or Fonte

lallana has been the steady eddie all season. Just a shame he picked up his injury as I think he has been a major loss effecting our play making & passing game performances.

Blimey thats pretty tough tbh! No1 seems to have back oxo????

Oxo - No doubt that he has not only crated several chances but bagged a few too. His pace and pure threat opens up so much and draggs so many players out of position. He has created massive attention and has got better and better as the season goes on. Offers us loads and without him our midfield is far weaker going forward

Chaplow - Been an absoloute rock for us and scored a few important goals too. Very demanding midfielder who is happy on the ball and has captain attributes in my opinion. At times he can pick up sill bookings for back chat or late fouls but all in all the exact type of player we need

Lallana - There is no doubt that the games he has featured in he has been more often than not the outstanding player. Its a shame he has been out so much which is why i feel against him a little. Its a tough one because he has been our best but been out alot. Good goals, very creative and picks up the rest of the team

Lambert - Getting better but i dont think he has had the impact of last season and several goals from set pieces and headers , but he is a typical striker and has not given up. His emotions are clear for everyone to see and his efforts week in week out are phenominal

    So..... Im going with.....

    1/LALLANA (Just)
    2/CHAPLOW
    3/OXO
    4/LAMBERT
