**** sake, bit early isn't it? I pick my Mum up at the train station on Chrismas Eve, bit different this year since my old man died. No idea how she'll be. My Mrs will be in full insanity mode by this time though, she goes completely mental in the days leading up to it. Unnecessarily so.
Off out to a pub restaurant tonight, few Christmas drinks and then I just need to get next week in work over with and it's a week off.
Anyone had the dreaded Christmas Do yet? Got mine next Friday, I might not go. It's meant to be a quiet week but this year next week is going to be ****ing mental. The two blokes below me are using up their holidays, which leaves me short and busy as ****. Will depend on my mood driving home on Friday. It looks **** anyway, some Caribbean night or something.
We're a predominantly male business but have female office staff and one smoking hot QS. She's on my table this year. She's flirty as **** and prolific Facebooker when it comes to the Christmas do. I just know my Christmas will be ruined for something I haven't done.
There's at least 3 people on my team I'll become abusive to, it's not worth the hassle when it's back to work so I've said I'm going out to Mrs Luv's work do and it happens to be the same night.
I had some right ****. Got a box from Beer52, I was texted the offer and took it up, which was twelve bottles of craft beer from various countries, approaching their sell by date, for a tenner. They were all cloudy, bar this daft strength chocolate stout. I don't mind white beer/rice beer ordinarily but not for every ****ing bottle to be a variation of. One is lemon grass and coriander flavoured for **** sake, they'll probably end up left in the garage fridge. On the plus side, went out Saturday night and the pub we ended up in had Beavertown Neck Oil on tap, which is a fantastic pint. I'm toning down my drinking in January, looking at what's coming up over the next couple of weeks seems a bit relentless and i'll need a break.
