Morning all. Bright sunshine and dry currently, but also breezy. My dinner choices for Sunday have been made and it is making my mouth water already. Before then I must get and do a bit of shopping and fetch more logs up from the fields. Have a fruitful day whatever you must do. <ok>

Surely it could be "Locked" and not removed.... I think the thread should be readable for posterity, especially given it's toxicity!!! I hate it when things get removed like this, a pet peeve - particularly on facebook!!!:emoticon-0127-lipss

Yes I did want to lock it, but my ability to so has gone missing. When it returns I will bring it back, then lock it. <ok>

I agree and I also feel a short period of post election discussion on the actual reasons for the result would have been useful and interesting.

The thread was left open all day for comments, but after messages I received it was closed to start with, but now is locked. Anyone can still see what was posted during the day, and I am sorry if you were not about to join in.
 
I am really sorry to have had to do it, but SH will not be able to comment on this thread for 24 hours. If he comes back to it in similar vein he will get a 7 day ban. Any further attempts to disrupt the forum and he will receive a whole site ban.
It is not my forum, I listen to the messages I get, and take note of the comments. The Hornets Nest has always been a place for chatter, often quite bizarre, but friendly gossip. For SH to try and hi-jack it for his own reasons is not acceptable. I never thought that I would have to carry out this action, and really feel sad about it, but I had tried to warn SH off without success.

... And worth saying i would be quite happy to discuss with you Duggie and others Scullion.. You did not seek to get your pleasure at the expense of other posters...
