Off Topic OLOF's political thread

How can you judge someone who has been in office for such a short term and during that time his hands were tied by Labour and Bercows antics?

The UK can judge Boris more from what has been reported in local news over they years but I seriously doubt he has had much airtime in Australia prior to becoming PM?

Look, I honestly don’t care anymore if you really are genuine or an alt account, my comments have zero to do with my past accusations but I just find it so hard to understand your heated feelings and knowledge if you are on the other side of the world.

In Comparison half the UK would not have a clue who the PM is in Australia, 99% couldn’t name the opposition leaders and as to caring who won the next Australian elections I’d hazard a guess 100% would not care
As a Pom (and you know what that means) I still have a soft spot for the Old Dart and hate to see her in the condition she is/was. I was living in the UK when it entered the EU and know something of what that entailed. Heated feelings? I wouldn't say that exactly except I do tend to leg pull a bit

Half the UK wouldn't know who the PM of Australia is? Half the people in Australia don't, either, and, I agree with you, probably don't care. Our Opposition leader is invisible and totally ineffectual. Wonderful world we live in, eh?

PS am a genuine account. Wouldn't know how to set up and alt account anyway.

my only personal concern with brexit is those Pesky foreign buyers leaving the property market and house prices dropping. That would hit my property portfolio AND let some of those poor people have a chance of getting on the property ladder. Fck that.

Hope Boris has a plan to stop all that so all those hardworking brits with 95% mortgages don’t face negative equity.
House prices can go down as well as up, if your stupid enough to over spend, it's your own fault.

Fear not, I think you can expect an influx of Russian buyers now that we’ve made the country safe for oligarchs. It gets better all the time, pound is up too.

I will always vouch for you being too stupid to have more than 1 account. ;)

As for the country being ‘conservative’. Wilson was a ‘pragmatist’. There has been no labour government since 1945 that hasn’t been centrist. The pillocks haven’t learnt you need a suit a smile and a bit of gravitas and Everyman appeal policies. It’s really fcking simple and time and time again they fck it up with outdated socialist dreamers. David Miliband would have walked this election.

I’m fine thanks, it’s all those hard working leave voters (remainers don’t work remember) who grafted for a deposit and wanted to get on the housing ladder you’re calling stupid
