When Poch isn't my avatar anymore, you'll know. Then you'll know. Until then, he remains 'Maureen' - in name and in deed.

Yeah was just bizarre. Really didn’t understand the thought process behind most of his decisions tonight.

It’s obvious Jose was using that game to fart around with the Midfield options

There’s so much to take from every loss

I’m sure he will have learned a few things

    Thought Sessegnon played decent

    Rest were ****

Moura can’t play in these kind of games...he’s best in emotionally charged games. There was no fluidity, typical of 11 players that rarely play together.

GLC had his moments but looked rusty, as did a few others. As much as I'm tempted to be critical of the subs and the performances, ultimately I do think this game was pointless. I just hope that Jose's making notes and come January, Rose, Dier and Eriksen are all out. They're deadweights, whenever they play. We can argue about the merits of players like Winks and Sissoko but atleast they are capable of contributing even if they're a mixed bag.

Sessegnon was great though and should be starting regularly soon.

Completely agree it was a meaningless game but that’s why I wanted more youth on the pitch and players like Gio to get a full 90 under their belt.

Bringing Wanyama on for 10 mins made zero sense to me. Either start him in a game like this or leave him out the squad. Giving him those minutes is 10 minutes that should’ve been given to Parrott or Tanganga - well Parrott should’ve started but hey-ho.

Winks is gash. Should be in the bin with the likes of Wanyama, Rose and others who want out/ deadwood.

People say they don’t give a **** about the result but we would have done if we took another pasting

    I’m glad Tanganga didn’t play

Parrot on the other hand is an odd one...should have been on instead of Son who should be sat at home

He's a right winger. Any other position and he's ****.
I've got no idea what managers see that makes them think differently.

A fixture devoid of any meaning, which was totally wasted.

There is no point in playing Rose....so ****ing stop doing it! Just leave that wing empty.or play KWP out there. Foyth could have played right back and give Tanganga a go in the middle.

Not playing Parrott has royally pissed me off. What a ****ing waste. We might have had a proper shape and the lad would have learned so much.

I know he loves Eric Dier, but he's soon going to be on his own in doing so. The bloke's nowhere near the required level. I can only hope this means that we won't see him on Sunday.

I was warming to the new regime...now I want to set it on fire.

I think they see him moving into the centre. He does not play like a winger IMO rarely goes for the byline just tries to move inside. Has he put in any centres? He's more like what I would call an old fashioned inside forward.

Dier clearly can’t play twice in quick succession. Whether it’s fitness or he has a Ledley-esque problem who knows but it’s clear for all to see that he can’t play two games in a week.

I thought he played really well against Burnley and did well against West Ham but in both midweek games he’s been ****ing gash.

Worst thing is, there was no need to play him tonight, Skipp was robbed of 65 mins of playing time.

But like you say, that involves moving into the centre, not starting there.
That works particularly well when the right-back can overlap and we have a lot of other attacking options.
Walker-Peters was pinned back and Moura was isolated completely. How was that supposed to work?

And he did well when he came on. If he didn't want to risk starting him, then chuck Wanyama on.
At least he'd be able to say that he gave the bloke a shot at playing in a decent match and he's not up to it any more.

My fear is that he looked good against 2 teams that we took to the cleaners.

Against anyone who's had a go at us, he looks waaaaay out of his depth - unfit, positionally reckless and his passing is awful.

I hope he can recover his game from 2015/16 but currently......he's doing my crust in.

Sadly Walker-Peters made little impression but I suppose we have to take into account who we were playing. Bayern looked very strong and very assured the Canadian Davies looked seriously good for such a young man. How come Germany seems to have such good connections to Canada I would have thought England should be better placed, he's not the first Canadian to play in Germany is he.

Poch( judging from how we were playing under him week in week out) would not have got the results Jose has in the last 5 games and i can’t see a Poch team coming back from 2 down in a must win game like we did against the Greeks which resulted in the luxury of tonight’s game being a dead rubber with us already through.

Kane would have been running his bollocks off tonight and Poch would have been explaining how winning the CL golden boot is important for Kane’s confidence and the future of Spurs hence why he picked him.

Hopefully he's a better pundit than bloody Hargreaves.
Paul "Oh No!" Stalteri also came to England via Germany.

One game a week I think he can be good and recapture old form, or at least to a degree anyway. Twice a week though is a big no-no. And unfortunately that signals the beginning end of the for a player in my eyes. You need players who can play twice a week at this level. Same applies to Lamela. I love both guys as players (when on form) but both are just so unreliable nowadays that they’re a hindrance more than an asset.

Think we need to start giving Skipp more minutes but when he only got 25 in a dead rubber tonight, it’s hard to envisage him getting much more going forward at the moment.

**** defence and a very, very high line. Batter a lot of teams, then get caught out by solid defences who break quickly.
We played like **** today and still got in behind them a load of times. Son had two great chances from fairly simple moves.

One thing I just couldn't get my head around: we've played with asymmetrical fullbacks so far, yet tonight we started with KWP and Dipshit, and that makes no sense for our system given it morphs into a back three when we're attacking - which is why Foyth should have started at RB, especially since he and GLC had a pretty good understanding against Red Star
