Looks like Elliot is starting in the cup for Newcastle tonight against Forest. Sort of want him to ship a few just to embarrass Pards; but I did like Robbie and wanted him to stay - Here's hoping he shines...

Super Pard's has been 'warned' about his future misconduct too after comments about refereeing.

Did we actually put in a complaint over the Elliot business??

Yes we did, he's got that one to come unless we withdrew the complaint after the transfer went through on somewhat more generous terms than were originally offered...:emoticon-0105-wink:

Newcastle have just conceded, according to the BBC updates, to a goal from a long way out. Was always Robbie's weakness...

Conceded three on his debut, could have been worse they could have lost.

Saw the highlights.. First one seemed to slightly go under his hands, and the 3rd one I have no idea what he was doing.

That said, he could have pulled off some top saves.. Highlights just don't show that.

Opinion on the Newcastle board is he was average at best. Someone says he has 'zero positioning sense'.

Sadly we all know he's not going to set the world alight there.

The move is just gonna set him back a few seasons.

i think it was a bad move for him football-wise. he aint gonna play except in cups and if he wants to play he'll have no takers as no one will have seen what he can do in years (apart from when he's had a game infront of a second choice defense)
