to be honest, i think he can now be sold and i wont be bothered. he's a bit self centred and voices an opinion that is usually wrong far too often. plus, he's probably not been raped by a footballer, or seen the vid of KAG saying charlton are **** in the summer.
I didn't hear any reference to the rape accusations last night, just some booing and Karlan, you're a cvnt a few times. The case didn't come to court as far as I remember, or have I missed something? The social media abuse may have been pretty ghastly and I wouldn't condone it, but sadly it's par for the course these days for anyone in the public eye. You can say what you like anonymously, which encourages this sort of coward.
I believe that charges against KAG were dropped. I don’t get why KAG leaving like 100s of other players have is a big deal, but Taylor shouldn’t get involved when he hasn’t been fit since 7 September...
On the other hand it must be horrendous to be branded a rapist, and if there was something I missed then Grant probably appreciated Taylor's support. It must be a sore point, and the social media stuff by the brain-dead would be upsetting.
I don't think you can brand Karlan a rapist when the case was dropped. I don't follow this sort of stuff on social media (and this is a good of example of why not) but once again our leading goalscorer taking pelters from the fans is a bit bizarre. he and Karlan were team mates and may well still be mates off the pitch, so what Taylor has posted is light years above whatever abuse Karlan recieved online. Plus all that Grant did was what 99% of people would do in the situation he was in - he took a chance to get a decent pay rise and the chance to play in the Prem. Given quite a few of our fans refused to attend the Valley while RD was in charge ( ahem...Elfs) why criticise what Grant did. He was never going to get the applause Bauer did as he left, but this sirt of abuse says a lot more about the people who dish it out than those who recieve it. Hopefully some of them can look forward to a visit from the OB.
was the "she said no" song. i dont think it was a malicious as LT is making out. which is why i'm nonplussed if he goes now. he might well be a good player, but he's not typical charlton... blasting his own fans (lets face it, who else would follow him?) so constantly.
It’s not just the blasting them....although you are right. It’s the “now get behind the team” stuff. He’s an arrogant individual.
