Yeah, makes you think who is conflicting them when the head of the hospital was quick to apologise and they sent bloody Hancock up there to take a pie in the face for his boss. The facts are pretty clear.
It was reported by Labour that he had pneumonia. Then his mother admitted it was possible tonsilitis and "flu". Now it looks like it was a head cold. He was discharged almost immediately. What drama!
The facts are entirely clear, but some prefer to believe the Tory fake news propaganda machine. The people that spread this **** are despicable, the people that believe it are credulous fools. https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2019/12/10/how-fake-news-spreads/ https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...A22JU2OZ-12tXaBNlTM94rmzMn48SHWymGL3x6p-2KpB4 https://www.theguardian.com/media/2...-hacked-to-post-fake-story-about-hospital-boy
Hancock offered to meet the family with the press but she declined. Funny how she can get the press involved once but won’t again? I also want to know why the boy isn't on the trolly which is next to him in the picture?
He was sent to hospital because his GP suspected it was pneumonia. It turned out to be flu and tonsilitis. He was in the hospital for hours with a bed then hours without one then got some sleep from 3am and went home around midday after being diagnosed. None of which is really the issue. Hospitals can be stretched from time to time. The attempts to write this off a day after every Tory mouthpiece parroted fake news from their anonymous source at the hospital is more concerning as is the attempts to smear the mother.
She understandably just wants a quiet life and to look after her sick kid rather than give that Boris receptacle a photo op.
Corbyn held this boy and his mother up as an example of a possibly mortally ill child being kept on a hospital floor. Don't expect the media to soak it up and not ask questions. Of course, there will always be trolls on both sides who try to abuse those involved which is completely wrong if they are acting in good faith
There’s asking questions and there’s deliberately looking to discredit the story because it doesn’t reflect well on the party you’re blindly cheerleading for as a media outlet.
It doesn't look good on Corbyn that he used a child for his own political advantage, and it backfired on him, after telling everyone the boy was seriously ill, that thankfully the boy went home the next morning
The child had 'suspected' pneumonia (the Mirror didn't say he actually had pneumonia as you suggested earlier) and whilst this remained a possibility he was indeed in danger. It's interesting that you're able to identity faults on 'both sides' when your side is wholly in the wrong, Goldie. The trolls in this case are part of the Tory propaganda machine.
I've said already I thought Boris was naive in the way he dealt with it. To be honest, a child having a potential mortal illness or suspected of having a potential mortal illness aren't greatly different, and when they turn out to be, actually, a heavy cold, it does pull the rug from under the whistle blower - in this case, a voter-desperate Corbyn. We'll see what other facts are thrown up by journalists but this whole episode seems to have blown over
She has already got the publicity she craved. As I said obviously the child was sick but you don’t need to take a picture and give it to the media. Surely any normal person would have been disgusted and yes, taken a picture then wrote to the hospital with evidence after. She couldn’t wait to get as much media attention as possible. It will end up that she is some Labour activist. This is just a cheap political stunt.
It wouldn’t do you or Goldie any harm to google this for five minutes. This was a local story picked up by the national press and blown up. Perhaps the woman was naive but she certainly wasn’t craving anything based on her own words. She claims she has not voted Labour in the past.
I also don’t recall her complaining to the hospital staff. If you have a problem you report it you don’t take pictures for the media to use as a political tool
I read the story 15 minutes after it broke. The one from the local rag saying pictures were real. I am not saying the kid wasn’t sick I am saying it’s being used as a political tool. Like the picture in the Mirror of a baby on a chair? If that was mine or my Mrs kid it would be in our arms not on a chair. Sadly people are using these stories as last ditch attempt to get Labour votes. Wait for tomorrow... you will probably have 100 homeless kids lining up for food and old Jezza the great will be feeding them.
I just hope they aren’t Boris’ kids. The Tories have run a statistically proven hugely dishonest campaign. No amount of random ranting about Corbyn or Labour will make them the ones in the wrong.
Are you making your excuses now? When Boris wins will all the losers say it was unfair and we should run it again as Boris lied? That reminds me of something else? Getting back to the NHS We all know there are ongoing problems in the NHS (Goldie alluded to them in a previous post). It will up to the next Tory government to sort it out. Drastic changes need to be made. Throwing money at it won’t solve the problems.
No. I’m stating a fact. An actual proven fact rather than the random hypothesis of one biased person. You’re almost certainly going to be proven right but deep down you know as well as I do they have **** all interest in improving services that the serfs need.
