But losing 4-0 to a team in your own division is much more embarrassing than losing 4-0 to a team two divisions above you. But neither are quite as embarrassing as losing 9-0 at home...
Depends what you consider to be embarrassing I suppose. A 9-0 defeat is a horrendous result it's true, but embarrassing? I'm not so sure. What I would find embarrassing is if one of our supporters punched a horse (after being beaten 0-4 at home in a derby match). Or if a group of fans organised a petition to stop a building in town from being painted red.
Nah, losing 9-0 at home is more embarrassing because the point of football is actually to play football.
What’s embarrassing is continually visiting a rival club’s forum in a completely ineffectual attempt to wind people up, when the reality is that the opposite is the case. That clear enough four you?
You're assuming I'm being 'wound up' by your posts, I'm really not. Anyway, I'm the not the one still going on about a game from what, two months ago now.
Excuse me, you’re the one who keeps posting on this thread to keep it alive. One wonders what you’re doing that four?
If you think that, check out the dates of posts. Each time I have posted in this thread after a while has been shortly after a previous post by a Southampton fan, therefore it's not me keeping it near the top.
I love that you care so little about this. It must mean that you keep banging on about how tragic we are for our sakes
I don't understand this. Surely three months anniversary sits on Christmas Eve? I am probably being thick here.
Not necessarily, it could quite easily be me. It is me , for some reason I had it down as 10th Sept but it was the 24th. I'll have to put it right now before the horse puncher sees it. Changed it, he'll never notice.
