Mate i honestly cannot see how you look at that and think it was deliberate handball.

Watched it again and again and for me hes making the motion to slide and block the cross, his hand goes to the floor naturally and at the same time the ball is kicked and hits his forearm as his hand hits the grass.

I wouldve loved a draw so no bias from me, honestly cant see what you do.

    Football though eh = opinions

    Some very odd decisions.
First goal hits an arm, potential third Utd goal ruled out for offside when it should be a pen and the red looked fine. Strange.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls..........I'm pretty sure that it tolls for Manuel Pellegrini.

Mark Hughes would suit them splendidly.

His definition of 'great' and mine are a long way apart.....but they were better than 'that lot', who were atrocious up to the point when they scored.

Wasn't able to watch the game, but saw that we'd had 0 shots on target 60 minutes in. We'd not won a Prem game since October 6th, so I would gladly take any victory, deserved or not.

There are very few players who warrant praise this season, but the £6m we spent on Martinelli is looking like an absolute steal. He looks a phenomenal player and has integrated seamlessly into English football.

Frankly, the first hour was a new low, even for this team. You scored and it all changed. The Spammers just dissolved.

Your next few games look a bit fair tougher than tonight's opposition and if the performance is anything like the first hour, it might not be such a merry Christmas.

I'm under no illusions that this team are any less brittle, feeble or weak than before tonight's result. West Ham are just bigger bottle jobs than us.

However, I am hoping we can take some much needed confidence and gain some self-belief from the result tonight into some of the other fixtures. With City up next, the timing isn't great at all though. It's such a shame we didn't display this resolve against Southampton, Norwich or Brighton.

Let's see what happens. The confidence will either permeate through the squad and we'll string some results together or it'll be a false dawn. Naturally, I'm hoping it's the former.

It's hard to know . So far, under Mourinho, we've just got over the line against West Ham and Bournemouth (having outplayed them for 70 minutes.) We've also thumped Burnley. All three of them in dreadful form,.

However, we went up to Old Trafford and got well beaten. What we do against Wolves will be a pointer to exactly where we are, just as a trip to Everton should put this result in a realistic light. They'll be well up for it. A draw wouldn't be the worst result for both teams, if it came on the back of a more solid performance.

There was no resolve. I have to say that for 60 minutes ,that was probably the worst performance I have ever seen by your team- it was embarrassing. You should have been 3 or 4 down. You got a lucky break and then upped your game with a bit of confidence.

Both teams were quite **** for the best part of an hour, but Arsenal literally didn't create a single worthwhile chance.
Xhaka somehow managed to be standout bad, strolling around and looking even more disinterested than the rest of them.
Cresswell had to be subbed off after 50-something minutes though and West Ham just collapsed. The equaliser changed everything.
