I think man united have once again shown that you have to get the best young players, play them, believe in them while you go backwards knowing that sooner or later they will get better. I think you have to do that before buying the 3 or 3 big players to move forward .. It gets you nowhere if you don't build good foundations
I've heard that he's into that sort of thing, to be fair! As much as the team has looked uninspiring and flat, I think that the system's a bit off, too. Not a lot of width, nobody commanding the midfield and I'm not sure what the overall plan is. I think this will probably be the interim coach's last game though, even if he's just replaced with another one.
Maybe that would help The players need to be more aggressive, get to the second ball quicker, close the spaces. We are soft as **** through the middle, they all seem scared to make a tackle. When we do have the ball, we need to move it quicker instead of sideways and backwards. Maitland Niles and Kolasinac are quick and so is Martinelli and Pepe, so we should get the ball down the flanks and try to turn West Ham around to face their own goal. We are simply just too weak at the moment to play our way through oppo teams
I think Xhaka's ****, but I'm not sure who you could replace him with. Maybe chuck on Luiz and push Kolasinac and Maitland-Niles up as wingbacks? The bench has some decent players on it, but they're all a bit like-for-like.
Don’t think anyone could be less effective. Not the biggest fan of Guendouzi but he’s a far superior player to that sack of ****.
Awful defending by West Ham. They've been completely in control, despite not actually playing well. Can they avoid collapsing now?
We have won 1 game away from home since January...at west ham...goons must believe they can win ... surely teir confidence ain't that low
