No idea who that lot in yellow were apart from Pearson, plenty of decent eye candy in the main stand game crap now somewhere in England may eventually get home and rejoice you got a clean sheet only wished we had
Just to reinforce a lot of what has been said already. Leistner was a rock. Lumley looked quite assured and pulled off one stunning save. Had they scored then we would have wobbled, we all know it. BOS was superb today and ran rings round them. Eze will get the plaudits for two goals and what a wonderfully confident penalty taker he is. My one downer about the lad is his unwillingness to chase and close when we are not in possession. Hugills finishing was awful or it could have been more but he made a proper nuisance of himself throughout. Preston are a bunch of big units and surely we didnt see the best of them today. They have a long injury list which would not have helped the cause and they will surely feel hard done by with the penalty decision. Had the ref thought he was 100% right wouldnt the card have been a different colour? Great win and even more importantly a cracking defensive performance to get that all important clean sheet.

Anybody get a decent view of the penalty incident either live in the stadium or on the tele since? My initial reaction in the ground was that it wasn't a penalty but the view I had wasn't great. Seen one replay on Sky sports news and I have yet to be convinced there was any contact by their player. Just wondering what others thought, thanks.
Happy Birthday peter How many on here are under ahem 50 Are there many youngsters at games Did the Preston team flatter us
Under 50, eh? Well, I sorta remember being under 50 but those days are long gone now. I saw the light and became a Ranger supporter when I was under 50 some 40 years ago. But I'll 67 on my next birthday
With that much needed confidence booster under our belts I can see us winning the next four. That would put us bang there in playoff contention.
Me too Finglas...I was above the incident and was surprised. I am not sure it was a penalty, although Pugh was knocked over The ref was in two minds, too which is why he consulted the linesman. I actually don't think the aggressive PNE in your face helped their cause either. So two weeks running we have been slightly lucky with the penalty decisions.. ( Mind you at one of the corners, it took two PNE players to hold Hugill still...he is as "unlucky" as Matty Smith was in getting penalties!) Makes up for last year....,and I'm sure it will come around again, and we will be bemoaning our luck in not getting cast iron penalties
Happy birthday. I was 65 a couple of months ago so you must have been in the same year as me. My form master was Jiffy Lever and year master Mr Toms.
I was in upper loft & didn’t look like much contract but as Beth says he went down so enough to give a pen, thought Pugh should’ve scored anyway but it’s irrelevant now
Mr Tom's was my year master, from memory my form teacher was a Ms Jostie who became Mrs Antrobus, I think my class was 1B2 in the 1st year
