I just saw the table and couldn’t believe we are the second highest scorers in the division.... It’s actually defensively where we have been lacking, you have to go all the way down to 14th to find a team that has conceded more. That surprised me.
I I think having Nagy, Kalas and DaSilva missing for most of the season so far has a lot to do with that. Chopping and changing the defence and going from 4 to 5 has mainly been down to injuries. If we get those players fit and playing from Jan/Feb onwards I reckon that we'll start to get more clean sheets.
I’ll be happy with one quality striker personally, as we all know Jan is notoriously difficult to get anybody decent , two is unlikely, even if we could afford it .
Fulham claim for a penalty … how many have watched the replays?I cant make up my mind if he dived/ fell /lost balance? he didn't seem to be upright when our player skipped over him!
I’m certain it was a Penalty John - and would have been screaming for it if it was us and we were 2-1 down.....
Whether it evens itself out is debatable, however some go against you , some go in your favour. The so called bigger clubs in my view get the benefit of any doubt more than the likes of us , I’ll take the few we get that go our way and maybe this was one of those, besides even the most ardent Fulham fan seems to agree we deserved to win. What I’m sure about I’d rather have these type of debates than the debacle that is VAR.
Another great result from LJ and the players....If we can get a little run together, playoffs could be a possibility..
Bristol City fan view: 'I thought away end would collapse in best performance this season' The view from the stands https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-fan-view-i-3621349
Great result ! I have to say that it looked like a penalty to them in stoppage time, and had I been a home fan I'd have been mightily unhappy at the decision not to award it. But we really need to start winning our home games now otherwise all of the hard work on the road could be for nothing. 2 home games now coming up that if we're going to be Play Off contenders we need to be taking 6 points from otherwise Leeds and WBA will be out of sight.
Well obviously we'd all like to be top 2 Sparkey, but I fear that ship has already sailed. Having said that, Leeds are perennial chokers, so we'll see. WBA are on fire at the moment.
OK, AN16 - roll on the Leeds implosion. We're up there playing them on the weekend so we'll try to start it. See you've got 2 "easy" home games this week against Millwall and Blackburn, whereas we've got 2 "hard" away games at Brentford and Leeds. Looks like 6 points for you and none for us - you should pull away from us again...........
absolutely, VAR at the moment is a hindrance, to slow and "the panel or additional ref ] does little to bolster confidence in them getting it right most [majority] of the time" it should be blimey that's the first time they got that wrong in last 100 times?!
