Today's result was disappointing, and I do feel for the travelling supporters. That's a long way to go for no reward and a poor performance. But this defeat was not a surprise. Middlesbrough were under severe pressure to get some kind of result. Charlton are still ravaged by injuries, and nobody could expect Lyle Taylor to be match-sharp on his first outing for months. I don't think it is good news that we seem to have suffered no injuries. I think it's great news. The two upcoming home evening games are still there to be won - as long as the team spirit has not been damaged. Personally I think Lee Bowyer still has the players 100% onside, and they still believe in him. And I believe we will get at least one win during next week.
Cannot agree with you on this. And I sincerely hope the new owners will keep their word about backing Lee Bowyer. An incoming owner is always tempted to put in his own people. It's almost a miracle that we seem to have an owner willing to stick by our current manager. But it may not take very much for them to change their minds. Lee Bowyer deserves a chance to strengthen the squad in January with proper funding. If he is fired because Duchatelet made him work with scraps off the table for two transfer windows, it will be an absolute travesty. Roland would probably p*ss himself laughing. Wembley in May, winning those play-offs, was a massive achievement. More difficult (because of RD) than what Chris Powell managed to do in 2011-12 - and I am a huge fan of SCP.
I still don't believe a fellow fan on here is a WUM just because he has an opinion I disagree with. Even if I disagree with it a lot.

Snr has squared up to everyone, making a twat out of himself, lucky he didn’t get battered by a 6ft northerner. On the train back now and a good day regardless
Don't take any notice of Mr ban Gerwen, he would not know a good time if it slapped his chubby cheeks.
A very poor performance today, possibly the worst of Lee Bowyer’s reign. We were lethargic, slow and clumsy from the off, and allowed them to walk right through us for the first goal (Dillon partly at fault). Purrington has sadly been found out at this level, and was ripped a new arsehole in a torrid first half for him, before being subbed. The likes of Bonne and Pratley were miles off the pace and surprise surprise as Cilla used to say - Joe Ledley was not fit !!!! How many more ****ing times ? We got marginally better after half time when Taylor and Morgan came on, but 69 min before the first shot is a disgrace and Boro should have won 6-0 on clear chances created. We are now deep in the sh1t, and need 4/5 signings in January to stay up. Leko is nicking a living. The one bright spot of the day is that I am currently in this wonderful chip shop in Darlington. I last visited here in 1989 (30 years ago) after a 0-0 draw. The owner said I hadn’t aged a bit.
