He’s consistently campaigned and voted against oppression, racism in any form, exploitation, and in favour of ordinary working people in this country and across the world. He’s been open and honest about his views, but has been the subject of a non-stop smear campaign in the press and media ever since he became Labour leader. You obviously believe all that ****, but why?
You also cant call him a coward, as he has been unwavering in his views from day one. A coward would have changed his own policies and views to appease people and win votes. Corbyn is many things, but a coward isnt one.
I see no juggling The policy is not intended to be populist it is intended to be a pragmatic solution to an untenable situation The Referendum was over-simplistic and short on real information, but you can’t just throw it away as the LibDems would. But you can offer another vote with real and better understood options And if you take sides as a leader then how can you implement the decision if it goes against you? Eg. Cameron resigned and May was a Remainer who then magically transformed into a Hard Brexiteer Interestingly the Hard Remain stance of the LibDems now seems to be their Achilles heel

All Corbyn is interested in is getting votes.......I wouldn't trust him any further than I could throw him. I know most of you have a different view but Im sorry I don't trust him same as I don't trust Johnson..........
That is a weird response. Why do you think all a man pilloried for his strong strong political views is only interested in getting votes? Also, at this point of an election campaign are you suggesting he should not want votes? You have made your mind up about him but done no independent research... Or thinking... And a vote for the loonies is a vote for the tories.
Er, that’s kind of the point of an election campaign isn’t it? Corbyn is desperate to drag this country’s economy and social structure up to the level of France or Sweden. If you want to waste your vote I can’t stop you, but this election is a stark choice between progress under Labour and a return to the dark ages under the hard-right Tories. Everyone has to make that choice, including you. Even if you don’t like Corbyn, you have to help put him into no.10.

He's stood up to years of sustained and often very personal abuse, he's been ridiculed, lied about and insulted, and he's responded with dignity and good grace throughout. Furthermore, he's still standing when many lesser men would have wilted. I don't call that gutless.
Beddy, you don't have to base your vote on leaders personalities. Look at the facts, but vote with your heart as well. If you want to live in an overly aggressive capitalists based country where money and power is king, then vote for the Tories. Don't dare feel guilty about the poor, the infirm or those unable to cope, because you will be complicit in making their lives worse. If you would like to live in a country that has less billionaires, millionaires and greedy corporations, but has a society that has half a chance of being compassionate then vote Labour. Maybe all of us being a little less wealthy, but socially more compassionate is a far better place to be than where we are at the moment. Vote for not what you want now, but vote for a better future.
I completely understand why he is taking the position he is over Brexit. That one issue has divided this country like no other has, possibly since the Civil War in the 1640’s. Whatever happens over Brexit, whether we leave or stay, two things have to happen. First, we need to have a trading arrangement with our biggest trading partner which protects and maintains the Good Friday Agreement. Staying would do this, Corbyn’s proposed deal would do this, but Johnson’s deal DOES NOT DO THIS. Secondly, a way has to be found to heal the wounds which the Tory-inspired Brexit referendum has inflicted on this country. A leader who sees and understands both sides of a conflict is exactly that, a leader. Johnson just isn’t a leader of any kind, but a puppet of billionaire tax-exiles and press barons. Corbyn is the only option, like him or not.
Johnson's lies and deceitfulness is well documented. What do base your distrust of Corbyn on? Surely you don't believe the Barclay brothers, Rothermere and Murdoch propaganda rags.
The only thing that might save it for Labour now is to openly embrace Remain and try to get another to get another tranch of LD support. A further 3% narrowing the Tory lead to 6% would prevent them faint a majority. That's all that matters now, locking him out of No10.
Its a choice between a man who genuinely cares about the country. Or A man who only cares about himself and his political career.
The problem is though, that there are many constituencies, such as mine in Wells, where the only possible alternative to the Tory is the Lib Dem candidate. Most Remainers are hopefully savvy enough to at least look at a tactical voting site to pick the best option. As I have said before, the Tory lead isn’t uniform across the country, and tactical voting is more important now than in any election in history.
My old mum is similar. Won't vote for Mr. Corbyn because "he is slimy, no-one can be that nice" She's retired on a lovely pension from what was a state owned company, also thinks I talk a lot of crap and bans me from talking about certain subjects!
