Haha, where I work the area is known as Avondale and I believe there is Barks road down the street. I might have to wait awhile to watch it though Sky, no cable or internet at the moment due to Moving, Tournament with the academy this weekend, and indoor pre-season is doing me ragged as well as the trainings during the week and work.....loads to do!
Keep it on your list though mate. I will personally guarantee you won't be disappointed. Many people and also many TV critics say it's the best ever TV show, I would agree 100%.
Good show though, not sure what you get across the way in terms of shows. I am addicted to Kitchen Nightmares and F-word at the moment too. GR is a straight G!!!
As far as I know we get pretty much everything you guys get over there. Sometimes a little later if it's an American produced show, but I guess vice-versa for English stuff such as the F-word etc.
BBC America covers all things Ramsey, Kitchen Nightmares is always on with some American ****hole ( occasionally they show a British one), and the F-Word finale made me want to fly over just to get a taste of Lasan's Indian dishes. I hear the British version of The Office is quality but the US version is pretty bad, not sure, never seen either to make a judgement.
Lasan's looks tasty The English Office is ****ing hilarious, the American one doesn't do it for me, but it's not too bad. I think it's one of those shows that you may prefer whichever culture you're from. You may prefer the American one and not fully appreciate the English one, if you get what I mean.
Ahhh the old, " I don't get what they are saying/talking about/british humor". Big problem for british shows that try to translate over. Showed a former player Some Rab C Nesbit and he was completely lost, didn't get jokes like the wee **** talking about getting his nat.
If I were you, I'd just ignore him - it's only giving him another reason to carry on this **** excuse of a thread.
He's now just a sad self parody. A stuck record. Sadly though, pretty much impssible to ignore as this **** is churned out on many threads, ad infinitum.
And to think I half defended him the other day. **** knows what I was thinking. How other Liverpool fans put up with him is beyond me.
