A great looking kit. I always liked the white away shirt, with red (or black) shorts. Will have a look later for some other favourite seasons. One I did not like was the kit with a big white patch at the top, worn with red shorts. Was that 2016-17? Not sure. Black or dark blue away kits don't do it for me. Blue stripes is too much like Catford. Still embarrassing after 95 years.
As someone forced to buy his sons replica Charlton kits 15 seasons running, I am something of an expert I agree that the grey kit was a cracker. Does anyone remember the all yellow away kit? I liked that. My favourite home shirt was that FADS one from 83-84.
https://uk.tattoofilter.com/p/35567 This is my all time favourite. This is also my tattoo. If you zoom in,the scars below are jelly fish stings. Before anyone calls bullshit that is 100% true.
The Woolwich shirts were all decent. The 91/92 (I think) away kit was a blue and black beauty with collar. I also liked the Viglen away shirt, which was white with large purple and green stripes down one half. All my old shirts are stored away in the loft. They'd probably be too small for me now .
No can do, I'm afraid. All my shirts are much cherished. Letting one go would be akin to losing a limb. I'm sure you understand.
A typically gracious refusal The problem with @Beware of the Virus is that a career in the charity shop industry has led him to expect something for nothing not even the 50p bargain basket is safe from his sticky fingered pilfering.
Even though it is very plain, the special shirt we wore for the return to The Valley will always remain dear to me. The collar is very scratchy though.
I sold 6 Charlton shirts for £225 to a company on line. They had bobbles and sponsers falling off.Big business is all the old retro kits.
