I've looked a few times now and at no point does TAA look up and spot Mane for his goal, I think that's amazing as Mane is nowhere near him at the start of the move so how does he know he's there? I was expecting a ball across the box.
Morning Fellas and may i say what a fine morning it is despite the fact i appear to have a touch of flu The first half last night was wonderful madness and as such an incredible watch and not surprisingly the second was a bit more controlled. Really nice to see Origi and Shaq step up and both had really good games but thought Lala was pretty anonymous personally. Evertons "defending" was wonderfully inept
Can't really ask for much more than that. To put it into context, Allison & Fabinho suspended, Matip still out injured and Klopp switches Henderson, Salah & Firmino for Lallana, Origi & Shaqiri. To go and knock 5 past Everton and play some sensational football at times gives us an incredible boost as a team & as a club heading into a ridiculously packed schedule. Fair play to every one of them last night, the effort and desire couldn't be matched by Everton and as I said, some of the football was beautiful. Can't believe how well Origi took his goals, that second one was world class.
He's at fault week in week out, gets such an easy time because he's England's number 1 - you'd actually think it'd be the other way round! People slowly cottoning on that he's poor
Xherdan Shaqiri was complaining that he has not been getting games. He got one yesterday and took it with both hands. To be fair, if he is playing for another club outside the top six he will be playing week in week out. He should be one of the senior players to play against Aston Villa in the Carabao cup
As sublime as our goals were, I thought he should have read the movement and been off his line quicker.
What a game. Absolutely brilliant goals by us and two very lucky gifts for Everton. Origi's goals were outstanding, the control and positioning were first class. Everton are in trouble if that was a sample of their recent play. No plan, no pace, no passion.
I've been a critic of Shakira but if he can put in performances like that on a regular basis he will change my mind.
Trent was obviously on an emotional high, it being the derby but I was pleased how the other players kept their collective cool through all the stamps, shirt pulls and general aggressive play from Everton. Wijnaldum being a good example with the man handling by the young boy? who doesn't look like a good player at all.
ooh i don't know couple of the afters were pretty dodgy looking i was convinced that if it hadn't been for HT there was no way it would end up 11 v 11 .
I didn't see one Everton player who looked like he wanted to be there. Although the lad they took off, Sidibe(spl) didn't have the customary Everton snarl and had made a few good moves.
