So tonight Everton Villa Watford and West Ham could easily lose And if we can beat Norwich the table will look rather different for us
Arsenal 3-2 win last season. I’m taking the same customer* tonight. He’s a lucky charm. The only way I can manage it at the moment.
Our next six matches will shape our season, a good run and we could be comfortably in midtable looking forward to the second half of the season. Conversely a poor run will see us lose touch with the pack and a likely relegation struggle for the rest of the season. There is a lot at stake and I hope that the players and fans fully appreciate that and put in their best collective efforts to win some games.
It made him retire at 32? (34 if you count the 2 years in America). Doesn’t seem to have slowed him down before that, so you’d have to assume he played through the pain until then.
Unless it's a near-goal-of-the-month backheel like Prowsey almost scored in the last game, of course.
I just cannot decide what to do tonight. Go to the game knowing that it will be freezing cold and my toes will suffer with the risk that we will get beaten. Or take the easy way out and sit in a warm pub with dinner and beer and regret it when we win 3-0. I have until 5pm to decide...
If you are an alcoholic, undernourished and suffering from hypothermia go to the pub. If you are a hardy Saints fan, go to the match, then to the pub for beer, grub and a warm up.
