Perhaps you should chuck a load of jerk spice on some Brie and cook it for two days. I’m sure you’ll love it then <ok>

Just bought the Mrs her main present.

Well, I say I did. She did.

A pair of Dr Martens Chelsea boots, all done via the medium of phone app. Very festive and traditional.
She's also having some earrings, which she pointed out to me to buy.

    Love Christmas shopping.

In the age of online shopping, there is absolutely no reason for us menfolk to find ourselves subjected to the horrors of Shopping centres.

My mission next weekend is to win the Turkey playing golf. There will be absolutely no pressure whatsoever to come up trumps!

I have won one before, about four years ago. They're top quality and massive, must be a good 70 quid worth.

If I win one, I'll then casually suggest golf isn't that bad a thing really and, by the way, next year's golf 'weekend' happens to be in Marbella. Can I go please?

I love Christmas i come from a very big fammly and I invite the all over to my house, I put all the crackers on the table and some music on the stereo some songs we all know like the pogues and wham and I make all the food. Cranberry sauce and bread dip and honey glazed ham and sausage rolls with. Then I wait for everybody to come and normally there’s a few can’t make it because they get stuck in snow so most of the time it’s just me and the cats but tern all dead now, so hoping Martyn will come this time if he got my invite in the mail. Ho ho. Hi.

‘I Thought we were getting snow here yesterday but we never to be honest’.

I feel like that ^^^^ would have been Matth’s contribution to this thread if he wasn’t in the not606 graveyard, for anybody who is missing his posts.

Does olive oil and salt really count as a marinade?

Its not, my seasonings cupboard is ram bruv always, id never eat unseasoned chicken tbh.
Lets face facts here, chicken is the blandest of all the meats, so to throw some salt and olive oil over the skin of one and say its seasoned is funny af for me <laugh>
