It was hard to tell from the standard camera angle because of foreshortening. I've since seen a different angle that made it look ok.
Yeah, he had just got on and things were a bit manic. He (Adrian) spent too much time on the post. Never a good idea to give the opposition that much of the goal to aim at but we see it time and time again from other teams also
The rules state the gap needs to be a yard, he is about 20cm away when the ball is hit. Another problem I have is why is no one blocking the freekick being taken as every other team does. You block the freekick until everything is set
