    Worth every penny.

A heads up my friend, two 660ml bottles for £5 from the Tesco Express. I have an account with them<cheers>

Better to pay £5:15 for a bottle of Leffe than £4:95 for a bottle of Heineken.

Leffe is class. I don't usually drink lager, but Leffe has flavour.

Whitstable Bay Blonde in The Bricklayers is very decent, cracking boozer as well.

Yes that's good. My favourite beer is Harveys though. Doesn't touch the sides. The Chelsfield got a barrel in especially for my 70th last year.

A site more rare than @Clb74 wearing trousers, the Star n Garter on Saturday night was heaving.

Bromley around 16.45 today was a strange place.

I was concerned as I saw shoppers screaming and running for cover. It was then that I saw our ex Mooderator waddling past TK Maxx.

    Panic over<laugh>

I was going to cross the road to go in Bet Fred, but spotted you and didn’t want to be bored to death for an hour <cheers>

On a wider societal point, Christ Almighty ....as someone born & bred in the town ....it’s gone. Absolutely gone. Romanian beggars strategically placed along the High St by their pimps, asking for “change boss” and a number of others on foot patrol. I have no idea why the police don’t round them up & arrest them all.

Bromley used to be a social class up from Beckenham..... now I'm afraid it is probably two social classes down :(

I haven't been to Bromley for a while, but there always used to be someone asking for change next to the payment machines at the car park. Must have been a prime site.

As the old folk song goes
Of all the trades in Engerland the beggin' is the best.
For when a beggar's tired he can lay him down to rest.
And a-beggin I will go and a-beggin I will go.....................

The rate of increase of Covid19 cases has doubled in Bromley in the last week. Complacency has set in.

Bet Fred? I heard on the radio that if you win big they just refuse to pay out.
    "Computer says no".
