At the end of the day all we can do is get results in our matches. The league will work itself out.

we went into our game vs city 6 points clear of 18th and then we drew putting us 12th and before we kick another ball the only thing separating us from 18th is going to be goal difference … the circumstances required for that to happen ...**** me

I feel the team that finishes 18th will get around 39 points, higher than in seasons past. Teams to drop: Southampton, Watford and Bournemouth. The dream drop would be Arsenal, Everton and West Ham.

If you actually start looking up instead of down then you would find that actually there were only 2 results went against us. Rather than requiring the bottom teams to lose to stay below us there are lots of advantages to the teams above and around us dropping points assuming we can carry on picking up points.

yes, but come may we wont be up there , so i'm more focussed on seeing 3 teams fall mate. We won't get anything away on Thursday and on Sunday at home we will be a in game of great importance with tiredness becoming an issue.I'm pretty sure some people have yet to realise it , but Sheffield united are a very good team .

They play well at the moment. I think a draw could be likely, if he gets the lads up for it then they are more than capable of giving them a game.

I would play Longstaff and not Shelvey for this one. They play a high intensity pressing game in midfield and I worry the game will pass Shelvey by.

Think we could be the sort of opposition they dont like. Sit back and defend. The games I have watched them play that they have done well in has been them exploiting space against teams that push forward against them.

I expect we will make changes for this game maybe both longstaffs schar , lejeune and gayle will start ? I would not criticise Bruce for doing that because they will be tired if they play the same team and we need to rest players at some point in this period .. I worry if we lose max , but he has to start imo but whether we like it or not he is going to need a rest soon. I've watched sheffiled United 3 times this season and they could blow us away within the first 30 mins of this game , but if we can counter well and save something for the last 20 mins we might have a chance if we're still in the game .. They really throw the bus at you and then rely on their physical strength once they tire and that moussett is a real handful might I add.

I'd consider dropping a CB, probably Dummett, and bring Longstaff in, then put Hayden to a deeper DM and play with three across the middle. I think that could take us higher up the pitch and is the formation I'd like to see. Can't drop Shelvey after that performance. It's a small tweak, but would allow us to close the gap between attack and midfield.

We absolutely won't. It'll be unchanged, unless Schar is fit.

all players can and should be dropped during this period … shelvey at home fully recovered vs Southampton is better than two tired performances from him .. if he starts I wouldn be happy , i'm just saying it's about shuffling your players around this period. I would consider resting anyone.
