    Opinions?

Will he make it in the Liverpool team?

I'v seen some good things in Shelvey. His energy, attacking mentality and the way he covers the pitch is great. Plus he strikes a great free kick.

But he maybe seems a little light weight, and has not played enough games.

I think he should be out on loan personally, gaining experience and strength.

I agree with the loan idea, he needs to be playing.

One of our brightest prospects - physical and pretty good technically as well. Always wants the ball and make something happen which is a great attitude to have as it shows he has confidence.

I rate him higher than Spearing but he needs to become a bit more intelligent with possession.

At the moment he should see how much Hendo is playing and really go for that position, even with Gerrard coming back into the fold, he can prove his worth still in that advanced midfield role.

I think he could make make it. The problem for him is because we've just signed Hendo then that puts him even further down the pecking order, although to be honest they seem to be similar players in many ways.

Hope he sticks around as he's still very young and I feel he has a part to play in the future. A loan spell at a newly promoted side would be ideal in my opinion.

Loan for sure. He seems a bit too eager for my liking. He misplaces passes often and doesn't always make the best decisions (trying to score against United from half the pitch comes to mind). That said he's very good physically and if he develops the mental side of it I'd like to see him prosper for us. For that a loan would certainly be good.
