He was the apex of the Jack of all trades. But he was also a Master of several. And Clive James was just a great observer and literary commentator. He could summon up the perfect phrase to capture a scenario.

You think the air is bad today........do you not remember the smog days?? London in particular was a nightmare..........As was Southampton at times although in general ours didn't last as long as the Smoke as we used to call London.
After watching ep4, I have begun to wonder what the makers of the Mandolorian could have created with TLJ's budget. What a shame. What an opportunity missed.
