Because only ones going to realistically have any power of the two. So I'm going with the one that will atleast stop privatising the NHS, sort out the mess that is universal credit and make a dent in the homelessness crisis which, as I can see everywhere I go, is worse than I've known it to be in my lifetime.

Meanwhile, all Boris is offering is a redacted plan which nobody can read.

To be fair I've always been Labour but I was a bit disillusioned after all this Brexit crap and went into it with an open mind. I tried to listen to Tory offers, however I couldn't find any in the consistent bashing of Corbyn. Just some crap about unleashing potential.

    Tissue?

Neither of them are credible... "The Tories would end up spending more than their manifesto pledges. Labour, it warned, would be unable to deliver its spending increases as it has promised."

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50585818https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50585818

I mean honestly do you think him taxing the millionaires and billionaires is going to work or will they just move themselves and their money elsewhere? Know what I'd do...
Do you think the tax hike against businesses - including the small independent self ran companies like mine - will cost the businesses themselves or will they pass it on to the consumer and/or workers in one shape or form? Would that be the reason they are going to increase the living wage because Hovis sure as **** aren't going to pay an extra 10% for making the bread they will just pass that increase on and recover their money elsewhere.

Labour policy is a fantasy land and the Tories are just lying "see you next Tuesdays"...

The proposed tax increases by Labour are tiny, even on billionaires. Which is why literally everyone doubts the validity.

Why wouldnt they when the lives of their kids are at stake along with the selling of the nhs...

No need for the childish rubbing it in its pathetic and makes me dislike people .

I domt mind their opinion , but nah rubbing it in makes me dislike them as a human being

Not you btw you seem a bit more decent than some on here

Saying things like dont cry etc its so revolting because people care ... horrible people

This isnt people upset over a game of tiddlywinks its people losing a battle the is going to effect their lives negativly along with their children.

The fact you admit you dont understand invalidates any opinion you have in it lol at least i understand why the rich want to be richer

It will be closer than you think, but I don't think it will go as well for Labour as it did last time (if you consider being so far from a majority as a win.)

It kinda felt like all the momentum was Labour's last time, I at some points thought they'd get a minority government. This time it feels like an old car running on fumes, like I said Boris is not May.

I think this will be Corbyns last hurrah and then we will have party elections. Who can even replace him though?

I'd probably go for Dan Jarvis. Labour are accused of not being very British, and betraying the country blah blah. He's a former army major, not many insults the Tories can throw his way.

Tissue? Im telling you why I'm voting Labour G4rd, don't get your knickers in a twist lad.

Anyway, we have 8 years of proof Tories talk out of their arse and austerity doesn't help, now let's give Labour a run of 4 years to do it too. Atleast in the meantime I'll see an improvement in poverty, NHS and emergency services. Yeh I know, cry me a river for thinking logically and not like a pissed off businessman.

I'm sure Labour will run in to issues and won't be able to deliver things they have promised, just like every party ever in power. But, crucially, they'll do more towards poverty than Tories who have just provide tax breaks for the rich through their whole tenure. Politicians lie you say? Well, ****ing hell you better ring up BBC and tell them, this is crazy news.

So when big businesses like Starbucks had to start paying the taxes they had been getting away with for years, why are they still here? Are their staff all ****ed? Shouldn't they be running at a loss? Does their coffees cost 10% more? Or maybe they just get abit less profit than before?

All I can find regarding your business is a statement it COULD be affected.... from costofcorbyn.com, a Tory run smear campaign.

Like I said, only one of them will be in power so you pat yourself on the back for voting Green Party or whatever ****e makes you think you're above people who realise one of only two will win.

Labour claim the Tories are “selling” the NHS and, therefore, it’s true.

    <doh>

If people wish to read more deeply into the allegation they will see it’s in a document incidentally available for the last 2 months, stating what each country would like in a trade deal. The USA would want us to buy the original not the generic version of drugs. We haven’t agreed to it nor has there been any actual trade discussions other than preliminary discussions where each country has set out it’s wishlist.

How and why people believe politicians spoutings defeats me.

See what the IFS are saying about both parties manifesto costings.

In today’s Society I forecast that a group of unhappy voters 2 weeks after the election will be demanding another one as the politicians lied to us and the “winners” didn’t really know what they were voting for.

No I didn't buy that but they are slowly privatising it and there appears a distinct possibility medication will be outsourced to America. Personally I think its apparent the underfunding the NHS has received over the last 8 years. Can anyone seriously tell me different?

If Corbyn has “proof” that the tories are selling off the NHS, why doesn’t he make his knowledge public instead of talking out his arse?
Surely there would be a shift toward Labour? Is it not in his interests to do so? Or perhaps he’s just making it up?

We should already be out. The majority of voters voted that and the politicians should have abided by that. That’s democracy. They didn’t know about a hard or soft Brexit, or never dreamed of a second referendum.
As for your “dimwit” comment, go **** youself <ok>

Labour talk about student fees. Guess who brought them in. They berate austerity. Guess who caused it. They talk about housing. Guess who build none. Labour are only getting the votes they get because poor and ignorant (mostly) Northerners inherently vote for them. They're a pathetic, outdated party who seem on the outside to appeal to the "people", when in reality they only appeal to those "people" we should be shipping to Australia.

Conservative make arrogant decisions designed to protect, in this order, Capitalism, Really Wealthy People, Wealthy People, Quite Wealthy People, then the rest. They lie, as standard, and have a ludicrous 1940's agenda which genuinely believes we have some sort of Empire, when in reality we're a 2nd world country, creaking under the strain of massive over-population/under-investment. We're heading one way under Tories, into an increasingly unbalanced wealth hierarchy and poverty at the bottom will only increase.

We have an absurd taxation and benefit system that literally employs 100,000 too many people because it's unfit for purpose. Flat tax is, economically, much more progressive and meaningful, securing huge payments from the top. This then should be offset by benefits for those UNDER a threshold, as opposed to heightened - and avoidable - taxes for those OVER a threshold. Politicians systematically ignore facts in place of the depressing need for votes.

The NHS - free for all - is also utter nonsense. And again whilst it should remain free for those who cannot afford, the likes of me should be allowed a "Private NHS" option, whereby I can pay £20 a month (instead of paying Vitality or BUPA) to get "Premium" care. Why does this make sense? Because I'm not below the poverty line, I don't smoke, drink to excess or eat microwave meals and McDonalds on a daily basis. I'm also of a working age, not over 80 and don't have plastic joints. Subsequently I am considerably less likely to go to the hospital or GP - however, when I do, I want to be seen quicker and better, because I'm wealthier. I'll pay for it, but if you're getting it for free then there may be a wait. We seem completely fine with a Capitalist society that sees millions reliant on foodbanks.....yet strangely resistant to improve the NHS using the same values.

It's such a ****ing outrageous mess I don't think it will ever change and I would bet my house on Civil War happening before any government makes a positive change.
