    The first one <laugh>

Btw has anyone noticed that every single one of those people just 'look' German? There's no distinct features at all but they all have that German look about them. I think Polish people have the same sort of thing as well. Mind you, that guy just below the second banner looks like Mel Gibson.

How unfair is that? Look at the second last photo, they can drink beer in the stands. Christ, even the Germans are more laid back than us.

I'm sure they can smoke in the stadium aswell. Think I heard it during Dortmund v Arsenal game. Obviously they have the standing sections too. The Germans have it right on so many levels

<laugh> German fans are quality! Always wanted to go and see Dortmund play, still haven't had the chance.

Was there many banners when we played the Bin Dippers? Only remember seeing the shirt with ' Not Worthy' on it..

Pretty sure smoking isn't allowed now, thankfully. The drinking and standing I can get behind, but of course the stands have to go for European games which I'm sure is a right faff on.

I was listening to 5 live's commnetary of the Arsenal game, and they were saying how someone near them was smoking, which they went on to say was allowed in Germany. I don't know if thats true to be honest. Yer its shameful that they lost 30,000 of their attendance when they play in Europe. I think if Fifa/Uefa could see how much atmosphere standing sections generate in the big games, they might consider reviewing their policy. Obviously safety has to be paramount, but it works in Germany, why not everywhere else?

Wow, they're pretty pissed huh? There must be more to it than him leaving to go to Munich, surely? The fact he spent 5 years there and then left them for a fee around 20 million euros doesn't sound like Schalke got the raw end of the deal? I know Munich are like the Man Utd of Germany so all the other football fans detest them...
