just read article on line about the violence pre and post match in Barnsley last season. I ll expect the style article on those who have been banned over the recent past from Hull FC, and the apparent redesignation of seating away from the 'trouble corner' at their home matches. Or perhaps not! Ironic as last weekend's non-report of trouble at Headingley didnt hit any headlines other than chatter from those who were at the game and witnessed the real events that took place. Its also interesting that whenever they show 'that' picture from the Barnsley Social Club, the chairs and suppused damage is nicely stacked in the centre of the room dipicting ensuing 'carnage'. Maybe the headline should more accurately read: "Insurance Fraud Suspected After Pub Fracas". The endearing imagage the post match 'violence' the Benny Hill style City Centre chase with a man dressed as a skeleton pursued by two mounted policemen and Keystone Cops with dogs. Now that was a Kodak noment i misssed. Haha
While I will not condone violence associated with football compare the coverage of this incident with that of the trouble at Headingley. The rugby coverage concentrated on the fans who apprehended the offender and made them sound hero´s, not that I want to knock what they did, but the bottle throwing incident was almost incidental to the report.
I've just read it.. turns out I know two of them! Never been mates like, but went to school with them. One of them was always a bit of a trouble causer but I didn't think he was that bad. As for the other, I just can't believe that of him.
My girlfriend's cousin got arrested for 'hooligan acts' whilst supprting City last year! Really couldn't believe it when we found out, would not expect it from him, must have a split personality!
It's weird when you see a name you recognize on an article like that.. you imagine it to be random chavs that fully deserve it.. then you see someone you know and you almost feel sorry for them.
lol at one of the lines in the article.. "A ninth Hull City fan, Colin Campbell, 41, received a caution for chanting."
Are they serious he got done for chanting ffs they will be trying to stop you talking at a match next i dont normaly like to use this word but are they ****ing ******ed????
im not on about **** thats one of my main words in my vocab im talking about ******ed i hate to use that word due to my job
Nope i support adults with learning dissabilities and behavioural problems so dont like the word ****** or spastic as i think its derogatry term until im drunk then anyone doing something stupid gets called one
