Yeah it's definitely the case, I totally understand why the support is faltering because it's how I feel myself when I go. It's been a rough ride hasn't it and it looks like it's getting worse before it gets better.
Nacho...do you think it'll ever get better, I've got some serious doubts on that score, we've been on the slide for nearly ten years and this is just the natural progression of that demise. We've had some poor managers over the years but PP is trying very hard to win our very worst manager award. He's lost the players that try their best most of the time but we must have our poorest squad ever and we had some shockers in the 70s and 80s. Where will it all end up.....Division two is not beyond our capabilities on current form....and I can't believe I'm actually thinking along those lines.
Tbh I'm pinning a lot of my hopes on us being able to spend our way out of trouble, if we don't have good money to spend in January I'll be worried. It is a weak league but it looks like the gentle slide that started under Ross is turning into a plummet. We're after five players supposedly and obviously that could make all the difference.
like has been said we most likely will not get these additions in until late January I only hope we can get some in early
and Coventry and Blackpool We are headed that way though, and a lot of the teams that have been lower than us are now more on the upward curve again. I mean nobody has had it worse than Coventry really have they? And they're above us and playing us off the park right now
I forgot about them. I don't know who's had the most admins, us or Cov, but Blackpool have really had it tough. It's like 4 Yorkshire men, this is.
The good will the new brooms brought in has just about vanished, it was looking so rosy this time last year but the last 12 months have been hard to take. We are all feeling the pain now and it does not look to rosy atm., I don't have faith in the transfer window solving all of our problems, my hope is that it starts us moving in the right direction. OaU.
which illustrates there is an upward element to the ride, hopefully one that lasts more than 60 seconds after we score the atmosphere at the SOL is generally ****ing awful. i enjoy the away day banter far more, always have done, so good job i moved away 30 years ago.
Oh how reasonable of you Mr. Omnipotent, did you not comprehend my post asking you to not reply to me again. I have been to work all day but for the second time PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO ANY OF MY POSTS AGAIN. THANKS IN.ADVANCE.
It seems you were right marra. If Hume hadn’t been lb there 2nd would never have happened. Don’t like to criticise a youngster but wtf was he doing letting their scorer have that much space?
Not sure what people are expecting atm. We are appreciably weaker in lots of places cf last season - can’t be bothered to go through them all again! Added to that one of our more effective signings(Macnulty) hasn’t been playing - although perhaps that means he’s not all that effective! Folk can complain about PP but I can’t see him going before he’s had a transfer window and had a chance to bring in the players he wants. I am not a happy clapper, just trying not to let it get me down
