BT have fibre linked over POTS. They provide silly little boxes that do it. Fibre <-> POTS <-> Internet. It's still (A)DSL with the fibre link the closest to you. You're getting fibre in one step only. The POTS step will suck the speed away.

I meant the wi fi waves Branson owns them , not 4g though.

No they cant. WIFI is a totally different beast. It is perfectly feasible for them to give free wireless coverage to the whole of Britain though. They would have to build hundreds of new masts though and secure the use of masts already built. If they do nationalise BT then they would be half way there. As it's the British Government that licences the masts then I dare say there would be little problem securing the use of non BT masts.

By the time they bought out B.T and all the other companies that own the masts as well as maintaining and setting everything up, It won't be very free someone's paying for it.

There was another weird idea to forcibly take 10% of private companies and give the workers £500 a year as a present.

I'm not sure all businesses would be effected but for an example.

Barry's sheds plc is valued at £2 million.

Barry employs 10 people to build his sheds .

The government takes £200k over 5 years and gives each worker £500 a year giving Pavel Maric and his buddies a combined windfall of £25000 rather than award them with the £200k extracted from the coffers of Barry's sheds plc.

Barry's sheds are already being taxed and if Barry is on over £100k will soon be getting shafted on his income tax too .

Why is it greedy for Barry to keep more of his money but not greedy for a Labour socialist government to take it from him ?

This is all hypothetical of course as we all know Barry and his East European migrant workers only do cash in hand jobs and don't pay any tax.

Tbh I haven't paid much attention to labour and it's manifesto or their pie in the sky promises. Mainly because they are an irrelevance now in Scotland. We bought apples off their barrel for decades. We irny falling for it anymore. Also I think they are unlikely to get elected anyway.

If they do manage to get into power then it will probably be with the aid of the SNP. That's when things will get interesting.

The Green party are the only ones with any good ideas if you ask me .

If we don't stop using cars eating meat and flying on aeroplanes in the next 12 years we will all be dead anyway .

I had a chat with some vegan protesters outside Burger King in Leicester square a few months ago , they had costumes with fake blood on them and scary masks holding up apple laptops showing the inhumane slaughter of farm animals .

I asked them who would take care of the pigs and cows if nobody was going to eat the produce ?

I was told that eventually these farm animals would not be necessary and would be made extinct.

Being a farmer boy it's common knowledge that animals are required to nourish the land and their bones and **** are used as fertiliser, if you rotate crops with animals then the soil will be nutrient enriched.

If you only grow crops eventually the land becomes useless, these are methods used since time began to feed our population.

They are also against reproducing to reduce the carbon footprint of humans.

I'm no Tory scum though so I'll be voting green party anyway for ethical reasons.

I don't know why certain sections of the "Public" think nationalising anything and trusting the State to look after it works better than what we have now.

First of all, everyone knows politicians are parasites in the main.

The State fks nearly everything up that it touches.

So give them more stuff to fk up will mean the 1% won't get richer?

    Is this the logic?
