2 tbsp of hoisin, sweet chilli, oyster, fish sauce and white wine vinegar. Finely chopped chilli, some ginger, a litre of chicken stock and a chicken breast. Hoy it all in the pan and boil the arse off it 'til the chicken is done. Then hoy the noodles and spring onions in for a couple of mins.
You can thicken it with cornflower or even run a beaten egg through it. Delicious either way :emoticon-0148-yes:

Great stuff, i may have left out the fish sauce, but the rest is spot on. The egg at the end is a good tip.

I think the fish sauce is in there as the original dish was made with prawns.

I need to find a nice hot and sour soup. Used to get one in a Chinatown all you can eat with prawns and bits of pork in. Delicious. Most of the all you can eats nowadays just do a veggie version, cheaper I guess.
