Anyone with and clue knows where this club is heading, I dread to think where we will be unless we're sold.

Does the fact we now have billionaires involved help the situation in your opinion?

IF we could have found two full backs to-day from CMcL D Bock Ozzy or Flan or from the U23 set up. (After all young Brandon Taylor looked capable enough in the previous game to make the step up and I am sure there are others just as capable if given a chance) We could have had Hume and O/9 start wide midfield today in a 4/4/2. Put any two of the three deadbeats central up front to start with, and sub them if required by moving O/9 with Kimpy, allowing Watmore to come on as a super sub. That midfield 4 of Hume Dobson Power and O/9 should have started the game imo.
4/3/3 with the 3 amigos on the pitch is a recipe for disaster that was only avoided by luck . If PP thinks Wyke will solve his problems he is in for a shock. Get this nettle grasped now and we could still achieve our aim, leave it much longer and it will be a tough ask.

I agree Vince, and so was Lynch, Hume, Power, Leadbitter and Dobson. We can't expect to win matches, when over half the team's having a mare.

That’s exactly right, but work rate would help

We looked much brighter when Watmore came on. He gave them something to think about. I thought we were poor first half, but until Watmore arrived, we were even worse in the second half. Can't wait for Gooch to come back. Our shape seems better with him and Watmore out wide.

Yeah, and that was sadly lacking. Too many going through the motions.

'Building on the momentum of the injury time equaliser' PP will probably play 4 defensive midfielders, 5 at the back and replace grigg with ozturk

thing that pissed me off is it took him over an hour to see that the team we had out wasn’t doing the trick..

should have changed the team at half time or even before imo as it was clear as day it wasn’t working and we where getting played off the park.

I wonder if the lethargy was a hang over from cup game. lack of application. or fitness, or maybe a mix of all three, to be fair to them they kept going and the injection of pace saved the day, a win tonight will put us back in the mix.

Pace and power (not a double act). Is it genuinely a hard quality to find in a footballer? Roll on January. December could be a long month or it may be the start of a good run.

I think he was hoping we’d stop making so many basic mistakes (passing to the opposition) which was much more of a problem than the personnel or the set-up

And there’s the problem tho really we played shocking and it needed a change simple as that the fact he waited till after an hour is quite worrying imo.

I think it hasn't been on the club's radar.. basically I see Donald and Methven have 'restructured' the club financially to make it look attractive to investors.. it's been their sole aim. The problem with that is there is a lag time as to when it manifests itself into results on the pitch, last season was masked by having players like Maja and Cattermole on the pitch who like it or not, influence games.

Now we are bearing the fruits of the decisions made since Short left and they aren't nice.. I appreciate why we couldn't do it last season but I don't see why we couldn't have ensured our way out of league 1 (with our debt cleared) in the same way that Ashley did with the mags out of the championship. It wasn't just spending money that he did - he ensured that there was a quality manager in place (who galvanised the fans) and gave them the best chance - which is all you can do.

We have aimed to look and be run like a league 1 club and that is now what we are becoming.. top to bottom. We've got to hope that there's future plans that we aren't privy to as it really doesn't look rosy right now - I do believe that there are but unless the club clarify things which they don't look like they will, then it's fair for people to have their doubts.
