Have you seen this? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...1466-29451946/#sitelife-commentsWidget-bottom OK it's nice to have a run in the League Cup, as it can give fringe players a run out and lets the management try different things without the pressure of a championship fixture, a nice night out and a fairly relaxed game, but it's not as if we are going to win the bloody thing IMO, and at the end of the day it could prove a distraction from the main business of championship football, it would be good to get through and perhaps have a decent payday against a big PL side, but the league has to be top priority. Or so I thought until I read this, I hope we stuff them in League ANDCup just to watch this arrogant prick choke on his own words
Read it in the Echo, i think our illustrious reporters have mis quoted Sven and it must be a quiet day for them so they have tried to sensationalise his words.
Agreed. The well known WME spin has clearly been put on his words in publishing this article. Having said that, I'd still like to stuff 'em twice.
Absolutely, however following on from my thread yesterday about my dislike of Leicester just because of Sven I hope we give them a spanking and he gets the bullet.
what awful, embarrassing journalism that is . he states quite categorically that both cardiff games will be difficult. what he's saying is that with the players they have they should be aiming to dominate teams, and that is a fair point. he is definitely not being arrogant
The bit I found strange was the fact he said we wouldn't live with us while the headline says Sven bemoans playing us twice in a week. If we're not going to live with them, I'm sure he'd want to play us every week.
I'd settle for a loss tomorrow and a win on the weekend. For me its all about the league and trying to open a gap with the teams below us. I've got to agree though that its a classic case of jornalists trying to make a story out of nothing - editing quotes to fit with what they want to write an article about
