I was happy when we signed Duff, as I always rated him. However, during his time with us he never really looked like he was giving 100% and seemed to "suffer" a lot of injuries. When he left and then slated the club, I lost all respect for him, especially as his form and fitness miraculously returned once he was back in West London. As for people booing Shay Given, if this happend then those who booed him should be ashamed. The guy was fantastic for us and should be given a great reception whenever he plays against us. I wasn't at the Villa game and didn't even see it on MotD, as I was in London on Saturday. (one of the sacrifices you have to make when your son is on the West End stage, have to spend 9 hours hanging about in London every 3rd Saturday and this week there wasn't even any Premiership matches being played that I could go and watch!)
Aye forgot about that, all well and going good? Booing Given was bang out of order, mind he did play a blinder, what a g/k.
Yes, he's having a great time and the director etc. all seem very happy with him, thanks. It's a pain in the arse taking him up to the show, lots of hanging around and we don't get back to Bournemouth until 1.00 am, but it's all worth it. As for Shay, I agree with you about the booing and the fact that he is still a superb keeper.
This starts as a Sunderland post about us booing KJ and then gets taken over by the Newcastle fans about about Given. Personally I'm not bothered about that and if the Newcastle fans want to talk about it why don't they go and do it on the ir own page.
