.............and Douchatelet seems to have every intention of staying. We have a new younger support now and they won't be happy when Bowyer goes.

The management team's contract situation can't be good for team morale, especially in the later part of the season.

And they can forget about any bonus.

Lee Bowyer will be the next Leeds United manager.

The only question is - when.

Lee Bowyer is sounding increasingly worn down.

Just like his 8 predecessors under the Belgian virus.

It won't be long until Johnnie Jackson is chucked in the meat grinder.
A sad end to his time at Charlton.

Sensible of Bowyer not to risk Taylor.

We're just going to have to do the best we can against Luton without him.
IF he is fit by next weekend, he is more likely to be useful against Sheffield Wednesday.

I agree we will lose LT in January.

All we can do now is get four or five more games out of him and hopefully a few more goals, before he goes.
I assume he will want to play, to put himself back in the shop window.

Now is the hardest test of LB as a manager.

He has built up a large reserve of goodwill among supporters, and the players seem to be 100% loyal and committed.
So no problems on those fronts.
But results are what matters. We cannot continue losing and drawing, and hope to remain in this division.
9 points from our last 11 games is relegation form.

Currently Charlton are 6 points better off than this time in the 2013-14 season, when we had no screen and a half-waterlogged pitch.
And we are 7 points better off than this time in the two recent seasons when we were relegated.

Luton away should be a win. But maybe we'll only be seeing 3 or 4 players on the bench.
It's difficult to see a way out of this situation in the short term (next 8 games or so).

If I wasn't such a technophobe I'd post Mundell's post defending Douchatelet's decision to keep Bowyer on a one-year contract, and attacking those who want to give him a 3-year contract. It's the stupidest post I've ever read, beating BB by some margin.
