They get well looked in those care homes in the main, obviously we hear some horror stories, but from my limited knowledge about them, they are a godsend.
My Dad received excellent care when he went into a care home. It was palliative care, which I think is one of the hardest care packages to deliver. But the home my Dad went into did it superbly. The staff were always on the go, but nothing was too much for my Dad. They even cooked meals for my Mum when she was visiting, understanding that she was in no emotional state to cook for herself. It was probably one of the toughest periods of my life seeing my Dad die, but the care that the home gave him made that process so much easier to manage for all of my family.

We adjusted it mate, the whole thing was low for me, The lights were ****e being in such a small space. And to much like a sunbed. So we made the top bit higher, and set the lights further back. It's given me enough space for a few nice pieces to be set off by the lights, and raised the TV. Floating units are a pain, when i put the tv on, i just said 'please hold'. A lot off hard work, But i'm pleased.
