Morning all, Stoke fan here. Firstly for anyone coming to the game tonight, have a safe journey & hope its going to be a good game. Looked at some of your team suggestions, still looks pretty strong to me, as for our team, well everyone up here just aint got a clue who will play. The team that played Sunderland sunday, played absolutely bloody awful, forget about the trip earlier to Kiev, as we made 8 changes from that game to play Sunderland. Tonight is a game most up here wish we didn't have to play, as we have a nice & easy home game Saturday against Man Utd Let's hope it's a cracker, all the best for the rest of the season. Huth
Just play the kids for that game mate, Utd should be a walkover! Haha. Should be a good game, you guys at home are always one of the toughest teams to beat and our youngsters more so than the squad players will want to impress against good Prem opposition, will definitely be their biggest test if the team that pretty much most of us have predicted do indeed play.
Well looking forward to this. Shame it's not on TV, but apparently Radio London are covering it, so it's 94.9 for me tonight. We have a good squad ATM, so fancy our chances of winning this, so glad there are no replays any more though. A wise decision by the Football league, and any other authorities involved.
Cheers, Huth. Might be a bit of a strange game all round, going by the possible line-ups, but I guess that this is what Redknapp and Pulis get paid for, eh? Hope it's a good one tonight and good luck against Utd on the weekend.
STARTING XI - Gomes; Corluka, Kaboul, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto; Carroll, Sandro, Livermore, Giovani; Van der Vaart, Pavlyuchenko. SUBS - Cudicini, Townsend, Luongo, Ceballos, Falque, Kane, Defoe. Guess Gallas is crocked again
Massimo Luongo, think he's a centre mid. Spurcat has spoken highly of him before and the club appear to agree giving him a spot on the bench, I think he's only about 17/18
Rose has been out since pre-season. Not sure what's wrong with him. Luongo is an Aussie attacking midfielder. One of the academy players.
He was also the guys that told the World(via Twitter) that Bentley and Hutton were training with the academy players, Harry Kane told him off as soon as he did it Uh-oh Mass
Jones off, Crouch on Am listening on radio, but they are putting the knife into Gomes already Obviously I can't see the game, my prediction though is these commentators are talking absolute **** about Gomes, and I would love it, absolutely love it, if Gomes shows them up big-time.
