John McGinn has done more for Scotland is his last 2-3 games than Callum McGregor has done in his whole 18 caps but you wont say a bad word about McGregor.

 

Surely a judge of your calibre isn't suggesting McGregor shouldn't start for Scotland?

On current form yes.

We have so many good players in midfield that if you aren't producing then you shouldn't be playing. Nobody should be guaranteed a start just cos they play for Celtic.

 

I should say my opinion on McGregor isn't clouded just cos he plays for Celtic. I think Christie is a brilliant player, one of the first names on the sheet for Scotland, if Griffiths can get back on track hes our best striker.

McGregor just isnt doing it for Scotland imo.
